Fable for $29.99 IF XBOX Live for $62.99

I just jumped on the Best Buy deal of buying the XBOX Live 1 year starter kit with Crimson Skies. You get $20 off any game $29.99 or greater. The cool thing is you can purchase a pre-order on a game not out so I got Fable for $20 off = $29.99. And to my surprise, on BestBuy.com - The Starter Kit is only $62.99 while my local store is still $69.99. So order it off the internet and pick it up at the store. This is a great deal since I've been trying to find the Starter Kit on sale.

This looks like a good deal, but you might just want to put in the title that any game that is normally $50 becomes $30 w/ the live kit so that more people who aren't interested in fable will click on it.

Could you take back the Starter Kit, get $69.99 bacl, and keep the $20 off of Fable (or whatever game)?

Not quite as good as Best Buy if you want Fable, but you have a lot more choices.

If anybody just wants the starter kit. My wholesale club has the XBOX Live 1 year starter kit with Crimson Skies for $52.50. We have Fable for $42.00.

So you can order the kit online, then get $20 off a game when you pick it up instore? Anyone encounter any employee resistance to this yet?

Oh and another question... does Best Buy do promotions like this frequently? I'm just wondering because I never used to pay attention to Xbox stuff in the ads... but now I'm planning on getting an Xbox. SO if this is a REALLY great deal in your opinion I'll probably jump on it. But if these type of deals happen all the time, I'll just hold off and wait till I actually get the Xbox.
