Fable...worth $20?

My friend has offered me his copy of "Fable" for just $20, do you think I should take it; is this game worth it ?

Also he claims that I'll end up wanting the Strategy guide to unlock all the Demon doors or something, I don't know what he's talking about, I haven't played the game, but he's offering it for $15.

The game is definetly worth it. Only buy the game though.

There are new copies at CC for 20 bucks right now this week. It will probably drop to retail for 20 also pretty soon. Just some food for thought for those of us (including myself) that haven't picked it up yet

IMO it's isn't worth $20

As I told everybody rent this 1 before you buy....

This game tends to be something less then wat people expect it to be.
In example: Final Fantasy games...

for $20 you could get better RPG's...

I'd say it's worth 20. I got it like a week ago. It is really short tho, and the unlockable/demon doors don't yield the most satisfying things in terms of secrets. Altho, razing an entire town on your own is tons of fun.

Short?? Only if you do the main quests. There is so much to do in the game that people dont realize it. It took me three weeks to find everything in the game and there was much more to do after the game was over it the towns. I agree that the hype out weighed the game, but it is a awsome under rated game.
