fable..... worth the wait??

Save system is sweet......u can save anytime but u cant save ur world during a quest only ur hero during a quest it pretty cool

what the hell am i doing then, just got the game yesterday and haven't played it and i am on free time since i had a half day at work.......i am soooooo gone to play this.

so far I'm about six hours in and it's been a blast..i have "lol'ed" quite a bit and the game is beautiful

got my devil horns and my weapons and ready to go....fun fun

well i received my email from outpost that it shipped today as well and im happy...

man i saw my friend playing the game and it looks amazing. you can even have sex and drink beer and get married

Ok, I finally beat Fable...got around to playing it a bit mroe the past few days. Yes, it was rather short....probably about 9 hours for me and I did do some of the side quests. I was kinda disappointed at the ending, but oh well. It was a decent game...not sure if I will replay it to be an evil bad-ass. I was pretty much GOOD the first time through.....

Overall, it was ok....I may trade it, I may keep it.
Eh, good game, but not as big as the hype suggested. But, what do you expect?
agree... the game is good... but way over hyped.

i think it's a great solid game in its own right, and way worth it if you can get it for the 30 bucks or so at the TRU sale. I just got it a few days ago myself, and it's hilarious. Those poor Oakvale (sp?) villagers still think they can lock their doors and keep me out. Too abd I have a huge freaking battle axe. And farting on people and then flipping them off, rinnign away, and then giggling; Always funny.

The game is very.. full.. of things to do. I loved checking out different reactions, different haircuts, etc. But overall, I'd say it wasn't really fun (if you watch, this is a current bitch of mine quite often). It reminded me of GTA, interesting to go around and just screw around with the interactive environment.. but it gets boring awfully quickly and plays more as an interactive tech demo than a fun game.

Is it a fun, beautiful, funny, did I mention FUN, game? YES. Was it worth the wait....maybe not. If it had come out a few years ago, then definitely. As it is, 10 years is a reaaally long wait for something that isn't groundbreaking. I'm not saying games need to be groundbreaking to be fun, but I feel if a game is in developement as long as this was, it should have more inovation than just a character whose looks change depending on how you play.

I'm still waiting. I have 3 or 4 RPGs waiting to be played, plus quite a few others so I won't be picking this up until I find it for cheap ($15-20 or less) or I run out of games.

9 hours! I had no idea it was this short.

I finished up everything in about 14 hours, all side quests and everything, I ended up clocking in at about 19 hours after killing every person in every village and buying everything and owning the world, then going from max evil to max good, so basically I did everything the game has to offer in under 20 hours. Granted that 20 hours was a complete blast so I am not fully dissapointed but not worth the wait.
