Hi, i have an original phantasy star i have been saving for 20 years now. I have tried to find out what they are worth but have never seen one come up for sale before. I am going to be letting it go at auction most likely and would like some input on what it is worth. I have sent it off to vga to get verified and graded and should be be back within the next week or two. Has anyone ever seen a sealed one sold before? How much did it go for? I get the feeling there isn't many out there.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I may go even higher do it as a buy it now and accept make offers on it. That way i can look into the buyer make sure they are legit before i accept so i won't be getting screwed on the purchase. Plus if it was only worth a few hundred bucks i would rather keep it than sell it.

It's not exactly super-rare, but it's not that common, either. I'd list it on ebay with a high reserve price, rather than a buy it now, cause who knows? $1500 might be a steal and you'd let it got for far less than you could have gotten
