Fake Mcdonalds Boardwalk million dollar ticket on Ebay

I still say someone should create a new account, then sniper with an impossibly high bid in the last 30 seconds then not pay. Because the seller still has to pay fees if the auction closes before it is pulled. Even if it doesn't go up any further (and I have a feeling it will) he'll still be out almost $342 in fees.

Thanks Strike, the item has been reported.

IMO what I think will happen is someone will bid and not pay if eBay does not close down the auction...if it's a fake piece he MUST put it in ths auction as a cut out.

Welcome to America. Where rapists and murderers in jail get gyms and cable television.

Knowing the way eBay tends to handle their customers, they are going to close down accounts that report this guy.

I reported it at 2pm I even went to the live help thing and talked to someone about it. She said yea it's obviously a fake but there was nothing she could do and requested that I fill out the form and send it in with all the others........

I also tried to make a fake account just to bid it up and then have this guy get hit hard with higher fees in hopes of his billing cycle hitting before he gets the nonpaying bidder thing through and has the fees credited.

To the person who asked why the bottom half of most game pieces are covered, it's because they contain a code that lets you play the tickets online as well as offline. If you dont cover the tickets then people can steal the numbers off the picture and play it online(it'll still be good offline though). Think auctions for mountain dew lids with the codes showing in the picture.... BTW I checked and only found 7 working #'s on all the full game pieces that were posted lol I was bored and being an ass but someone beat me to most of them. I went around the board 2.5 times and didn't win crap, I have 3 of the railroads though.

Another copy cat, I bet he sends you the deed to Boardwalk from the board game.

Nailed that one down too in reporting it.
if this is a single mother of x kids on welfare, what the hell is she doing buying useless shit on ebay. if you are on welfare, you shouldnt be allowed to have such things as cable, internet, or be allowed to eat steak every night of the week or buy lottery tickets, using my tax dollars. dammit.
yeah, as usual take out your frustrations on the people below you rather than the people above you.

id rather ever tax dollar i ever payed buy poor people food than create multi billion dollar killing machines.

so lets just say my money is feeding people and your money is killing people, and we're both happy.

If eBay deletes this listing (doesn't matter if it's before or after the auction has ended) then they refund all fees. So, if it does sell and the buyer pays the seller the (approx.) $20,000 and then eBay cancels the listing, eBay will refund the seller for the $342 or whatever it is and deletes the listing/evidence for him. So, he makes $20,000 and pays no fees, with no consequence.
So true, as much as I think middle-clss America gets screwed every day by the corporations that control congress, the poor screw us all by spending all their money on cigs, bling-bling and fancy cell phones, and then pleading poverty when they go in to see the doctor or their local welfare office.

I remember in college there was this one nerd who had his tuition totally funded by the state, so he spent all of his expendable income on Magic the Gathering cards while the rest of us were stuck saving up so we could goto the movies on Friday night.
What would you rather have had him do? Treat you all to the movies? Give it to charity? I'm sure if you were in his boat, and had expendable income, you'd be spending it on cheap ass video games!
This auction is my favorite: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=67839&item=5766657821&rd=1

The best part is that its totally legit. All u have to do is read. He even says "please read description carefully before bidding". After reading feedback on this guy its obvious that he got the money too as the guy who won the auction said "item unclear screwed me read carefully dont buy from him".
The guy who won that ipod box apparently didn't pay him, because he left the winner negative feedback saying "he did not read description and took it out on seller. seller not at fault. o_O"

he actually put a " o_O "

yeah, but maybe taking it out on seller was leaving negative feedback, not not paying

I checked the seller's feedback, and didn't see a negative feedback for that item.
