If I have fallout 3 for the 360 and I am able to borrow a friend's bonus disc, can I install that content and then give it back to him and allow both of us to play it?

From my experience yes it will work.
I have the GOTY edition, gave the disc with the DLC to a friend who has the original release of the game and he installed it to his HD. To my knowledge he hasn't had any problems playing the extract content with his original game disc.

I was wondering this last night after playing a little Fallout. My problem is that my 20GB drive is running out of space and I'm too cheap to invest the extra $75 - $100 for a new 60GB.
