Amazon has really good deals on this game. The CE is $58 shipped.

Be aware that around October there will be a GotY Edition, that will include all 5 DLC, which are normally 800 points each.

I've got an sealed copy that I'd be willing to sell you for $45 shipped if you interested. I got it as a gift and few months back and haven't opened it yet because I don't have the time to sit down and put all the hours in to play it.

You've waited this long, so I'd just wait a bit longer for the GotY. Fallout 3 is already well worth the $60. The GotY edition will be an awesome value.
