...Don't fool yourself though, you are responsible for paying those fees and just because you've gotten away with breaking laws in the past doesn't mean that you will always get away with it. ...
Woah. I'm a criminal because I "may" have been subject to something, but wasn't?
...B) Wait for the GOTY edition (if there is one; am actually not quite sure if there will be)...
You only need one outlet to consider you GOTY for you to make a GOTY edition (Boredomlands), and even if they don't meet that quota, all you have to do is call it a 'complete' or 'ultimate' edition to get a later re-released sku.
(and just to say it now before anyone griefs me, borderlands is a fun game, but calling it the game of the year from 2009 is an enormous stretch of the imagination)
The bugs are greatly exaggerated. I put at least 160 hours into Fallout 3 + dlc on PS3 and the game froze maybe six times tops and only during very long gaming sessions.
GOTY version or not? for me (GOTY version), I platinumed it (+DLC) in ~76 hours, and I had no less than 100 occurrences in which the game 'crashed.' Though, most of them are avoidable by hitting the PS button as soon as the game starts to lock up, but as your save file grows, the more often the game starts to lock up.
Would patches work for the Asian version of New Vegas? If not, I would strongly advise against buying it. I actually never had a problem with Fallout 3 even with all the DLC, but in New Vegas I run across a significant quest-breaking bug or a total freeze about every few hours.
Good point, I was thinking just DLC wouldn't work, but from what everyone says, this game is almost unplayable in a few spots without the patch(es). Specifically, after you complete one quest, a large portion of the game is inaccessible unless you're wearing a specific cowboy hat, which is laughable.
