Fallout New Vegas $19.90! (PS3 Only)
How does New Vegas compare to the original Fallout 3? I'm playing through Fallout 3 and almost done with it (currently on Broken Steel).
IMO it doesn compare at all. Its super buggy and the story isnt that interesting. To me it was just a cheap side mission for fallout 3 that they made into a $60 game. Super buggy and it made me lose like 80% of my respect for the company regardless on what team was behind it. Yes i beat it but it wasnt that great. Version i played was the PS3 version but my friend assures me the 360 version is just as buggy we have even ran into the same exact bugs.

Weird i ordered from play-asia for the first time with my citi credit card and it got flagged for fraud/identity theft so i had to call damn citibank and tell them to fix it at the end i got a copy

Im sure the card being processed in a foreign country would flag it. Thats a good security measure with Citi. Glad you got in on the great deal bud.
The bugs are greatly exaggerated. I put at least 160 hours into Fallout 3 + dlc on PS3 and the game froze maybe six times tops and only during very long gaming sessions.
I disagree, I put about 120 hours into it and was plagued with horrible lockups, freezes, and terrible mission breaking bugs.
you guys wont be able to play the expansion packs with this region ... just letting you guys know!
^ This =(
No Problem. I jumped on it right away! Cant pass up the great deal. Even if you have a copy already you can get this and trade in the other for more credit than you paid or sell it and make money. Its a no brainer.

Glad I can help someone out. :D
my time is worth more than $5 lol

is this confirmed?
tempted by this price, but my extremely large PS3 backlog has convinced me to:

A) Wait for local prices to drop to this price
B) Wait for the GOTY edition (if there is one; am actually not quite sure if there will be)
or
C) Eventually get the PC version for the mods (god bless those modders!)
QFT for choice C. Those mods basically quintupled the value and playability of the original fallout 3! =D

@Seether - Yeah, typically non US games cannot install US DLC. You often have to set up a PSN account to whereever the game is from and download/purchase from there. Exceptions exist, I'm sure.

saw this posted by a newbie, thought i would follow up in this thread. I jumped on this after having recently rediscovered fallout 3 on my 360. I'm not too terribly worried about the expansions because I doubt i would buy them anyway. As long as I can understand the text in the game, I'm set

I have been buying games from play-asia for years, I currently have both Afrika/Hakuna Matata and Battle Fantasia in my ps3 collection and quite a few for my 360...I have never had any issues. Paypal payments are taken quickly and the games ship promptly. If you are scared of the site, I will gladly vouch for them.

thanks again, op...play-asia is not one i normally check for deals so i doubt i would have seen this in time
is this confirmed?
yes, it's a different region. Patches for NTSC versions won't work with PAL versions.
