I guess Futurama's just not my thing. Perhaps Futurama is more for you "intellegent beings" and Family Guy is for the rest of us who are immature and refuse to grow up, hm?
I suppose Futurama is for people who like emotion mixed into their cartoons so that they can cry and laugh at the same time, while Family Guy is more appropriate who get off on fart jokes and gender slamming.
I suppose Futurama is for people who take things personally and don't want to be criticized for watching cartoons [i.e: "Oh look at Sean, he's watching cartoons."

While Family Guy is for people who don't give a damn what other people think and watch the cartoon because straight up humor is what they want. [i.e: ["Oh, man, Jerry, you're watching that stupid ass cartoon again?"
