They're easily in my top 10 of online retailers, and higher than Buy.com to boot. I can't vouch for their used items, though, I've only bought new from them in the past.

I would not trust Buy.com for a second.... I know way to many people who have been screwed by the sellers on that site. Familyvideo is very reputable.

I tried it with 2 mystery DVDs, and it took $1.98 off, making the total $1.99 shipped.

The coupon won't discount for more than the actual merchandise total. This is a problem for many CAGs. Any by many, I mean Slidecage. And by Slidecage, I mean no one.

Thanks for mentioning the 99 mystery DVD, I never knew about that. I'm in for 5 just to see what they send (It'll be better than any Stootsi Mystery Box). Regardless of the movie inside of it, I can use a few new DVD cases...

I honestly didn't see that limit last night. My order status is "marked for review". I think I may fail this one.

It's just not the same if you only get one; the chances of getting a movie you've never seen will be much lower.

DVDS was 19.99 now 1.00 and its just all of those DVDS what has always been 1.00
 
Thinking about LBP, but money is tight & I wasn't blown away by the beta like many were. Might have to wait on that.
 
Has anybody ever ordered something from family video before it came out? I want to buy Gears of War for 49.99 but i'm not sure how long it takes to get here. Will it be the day it comes out or a few days later?

I was wondering the same thing. Anyone have an answer?
 
They seem to be hit or miss. Some games get there release day, other's ship on release day. With Gears going Gold already, they might get them in early and ship, but you never know, it's a gamble. I'm in the same boat as you guys...buy for 10 bucks cheaper, or pick up on release day to make sure I get it.

Or you could just order from Familyvideo, buy the game at a store, and whenever the familyvideo copy comes just return the unopened copy at the store you first bought it from

Minor order update:

I received an E-mail from FM re: my 5 mystery DVDs order.

They said it was a a limit of 1 per household, but they were able to secure 3 for me. That was very nice of them to do that rather than ship 1 and charge me the $1.99 minimum.

Also: the mystery DVDs have sold out for now.

yes i can answer you...

i preordered uncharted drakes fortune like 2 weeks before it came out because it was $55.99 plus the $5 off coupon.

so anyways i got it and i dont believe it was that day it came out but it was very close. i forgot but anyways i was sastified enought to go preorder castlevania order of esilla just now
