I would like to preorder these but I have almost $150 in credit at gamecrazy and they told me it expires in 6 months, so I'll have to pay more and get it there unfortunately

That's not exactly correct. FV tries to ship them out early trying to get items to you on release date depending upon when the developer sends the games out to their warehouse(s).

EX:

Halo 3 released on 25th of September. FV got them early and shipped the them out the Friday & Saturday before. FV didn't get Call of Duty 4 until Nov 5th & some shipped out the 6th.
 
It really saddens me to see the Family Video hate sometimes. I've gotten nothing but greatness from them in my experience. People are getting games $15 less than MSRP and still find ways to bitch and moan.

QFT and ditto with your experience. Whenever you order ANYTHING from ANY online store, you run a huge risk at not getting the item the day of its release (some retailers ship a day or two ahead...but even then there's the risk). If Family Video only takes a few days extra or a week extra, then that's a great deal considering it's A) 99 cent shipping and B) You're saving a substantial amount of money. Even when I ordered Halo 3 for like 45 bucks from Family Video (a few days after it's release, when there was a huge amount of hype going around and they were probably selling like hot cakes) it only took me about 4-5 business days to get it.

If you want to play it the day of release, then you'll be a moron and dish out the extra 15 bucks for that convenience. For me, if I can't play a game the day of its release, I don't let it ruin my day, because chances are there's a crap load of other titles that I'm still trying to play through.

Ordered mine on September 28th.. Family video shipped it out the 17th of November, received my copy of Mass Effect today.

Very happy with my purchase!
