Fanatical Thread

Sure, repeats, but it's just another opportunity to get games you might have missed or overlooked. There's actually a pretty good Smash Bros. clone in this one called Megabyte Punch.

Jagged Alliance - Back in Action
Worms
Planetary Annihilation
Ghost Master
Disciples Sacred Lands Gold
Prophour23
War of the Human Tanks
Z
Prime World: Defenders
Heroes of Annihilated Empires
Knights and Merchants
Runespell: Overture
Eador: Genesis
Hoard Complete Pack
Puzzle Kingdoms
Frozen Synapse Prime

Another tiered bundle with all but 1 repeat (I think Disciples Sacred Lands Gold is new)

lol @ The Flock. Guess that gimmick didn't work too well for them.
hehe, one of the first forum posts is bitching about the game going on a 75-80% sale during the last holiday sale, bet this will make them real happy :)

If they ever want to reach that end game useless goal guess they gotta try to up the player base or else the gimmick will never even happen

Isn't that the game with only so many community only has so many lives before the game becomes a digital paperweight?

I cannot imagine why that didn't go so well...
yup, they do post in the faq an updated count of total lives left, which is at like 200mil something. They also state once it hits that they will release some endgame content, which I can only imagine will just be a copy of the existing content with unlimited lives

Re: The Flock Steam Discussion for Retards

First dis gui saz:

80% discount?
I buy the game the realease day. I spend 17 € for it. I've never played because they have not added anything (promised an update for Halloween and I have not seen anything) and now ... Worth 4 €

I have no words to describe this. Really...

Then 2 hours later he sez:

The worst part is that I love the game...

When you love a game you've never played, you must set it free...if it comes back to you, you're a retard...if it doesn't, you're still a retard.

wat da flock!

Gryphon Knight Epic looks pretty neat. I'm sure everyone has the two Van Helsing games though. That really diminishes the value for me. Still, I'd feel a little better buying this with three repeats than I would IG Monday for half the price and a bunch of RPG Maker games.

If you ignore the repeats, it's not a bad bundle. Since I'm a bonafide canadian now, my price came to about $3.29. After selling off my repeats, it ended up being about $1.90.

"We have noticed attempts to access Bundle Stars customer accounts by entering, what we believe to be, stolen email address and password combinations, so we have taken the precaution of resetting all user passwords across the website. Customers' financial information, such as PayPal, credit or debit card details is not stored on the Bundle Stars website, so has NOT been compromised and is not at risk.

We have reason to believe that a number of customer accounts may have been accessed without the permission of the account holder. We think it is likely that an individual or individuals obtained, from the public domain, a list of compromised accounts which have been stolen from other websites.

If your account has been affected, then your email address, password, order history and purchased Steam keys may have been accessed.

Next time you sign in, you will be required to change your password. You will then be able to access your account and order history as normal.

WHEN ENTERING YOUR NEW PASSWORD WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT, TO PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU USE A UNIQUE AND PREVIOUSLY UNUSED PASSWORD.

We would also encourage you to update your password across any other websites where you have used the same or similar passwords, and do this as soon as you possibly can.

If your previous email and password combination was unique to Bundle Stars, then your account will not have been affected.

We apologise for the inconvenience and concern that this may have caused you as a member of the Bundle Stars community. We have acted quickly to investigate and take security precautions to protect our customers by removing all passwords so that every customer must choose a new password. We also invalidated the session so that all customers were logged out, and implemented reCAPTCHA.

It is important to stress that our investigation indicates that this breach has not been caused by any compromise of our internal security systems but has been caused by an attack by an individual or individuals that have obtained user and password details from compromised accounts stolen from other websites. Robust security systems and processes are critical to our service and we continuously invest in our information security system to meet evolving threats.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter, and we apologise unreservedly for any inconvenience.

So wait, it turns out that having the same password for all my logins was a bad idea? Why did nobody ever tell me this!
Obviously, doing this would be rather stupid and if your account got "hacked" in this manner its your own damn fault... but I must admit that I like BS's proactive approach to this event.

TIL: Password doesn't mean literally "Password" but more like Õ¿©eo+]WGgi¢çFSïn¹ØÜåu=Ý«ÁäÀH÷¤ØàË2o/Ὣ¹Pó´mûãï,n.-ÂNÇèßÙ«ùü6²È.

Yeah, I liked it too. Unlike Sony that announced the breach after like 6 days of it happening.

Yup cheap for those who don't have them though...I believe it's pretty much all repeats for me. Lots of mixed quality games in there as well.

Aside from humble bundle and bundle stars, is there any other places out there to get bundles of steam games? I'm a little new to the pc scene, but considering nothing interesting seems to be coming out on the ps4 anytime soon, I figured why not build up the pc library and maybe invest in a steam console or something

I kind of want Death Goat just because I love top down shooters. I've played Last Knight and it's an okay runner. Most of the rest is (as usual) repeats.

Now I must go and wring my hands over the decision to spend pennies for games I (mostly) don't want or need.

The other 2 popular ones are Groupees and Indiegala, which both are generally lacking in their bundles, but the games are very indie. Daily Indie Game (DIG) also has very cheap indie game bundles and you get 2 for the price of one for beating the average. Indiegala generally doesn't do Greenlight (games that aren't available on Steam) so that would be your best bet.

Arkham Knight $13.59 , historically lowest according to itad. about the same price on g2a and such...
Premium edition has been $13.99 on steam before, but only for a few minutes. I'd say that's the lowest if you include glitches.

Aside from that, it was cheaper to buy an Nvidia code from someone (they sold for around $10 or a bit less), but those are expired now.

So yeah, if you haven't bought it by now.. I'd wait.

The season pass is like ten bucks.

That's still nine bucks too much. fuck WB.
Eh, I don't think I agree with you. Admittedly, I haven't touched the DLC after nearly finishing the game, but it does contain a bunch of story/mission stuff and challenge maps. From the looks of it, way more than any previous Batman game. It's definitely worth more than a buck.

So....$2 then maybe? ;)

I dunno... some people hate DLC as a matter of principle. Some don't like it because they're usually sick of the game by the time it's over and don't really want more shit to wade through.

I actually played the story DLC from previous games and greatly enjoyed the challenge maps. Getting to play as other characters is cool too. The driving stuff I don't give a flip about, but there's enough there that it's worth a few dollars to me.

I'm just saying, it's not Tomb Raider 2013 DLC-bad and dismissing it out of hand may be a mistake. $30? Hell no. Less than $10.. yeah, maybe.

My comment is more about the "compensation" for the screwed up release.

You know, the freebie that almost everyone who had AK already owned. :p
