Fanatical Thread

Fanatical keeps putting this Leisure Suit Larry game in bundles where I have to buy other stuff in order to get it. I keep hoping Humble picks up the slack and throws it in a monthly but so far I've been out of luck.

I have to say that this is the worst bundle Fanatical has put together in awhile. Unless you are new to buying bundles from either Humble or Fanatical, all of these games have been bundled somewhere between twice to 100 times.

Eh, I think it's pretty solid. Obviously Fanatical recycles stuff a lot but when the bundles are pick-and-mix and as low as fifty cents each, it's a great option to have. Especially considering most filler in Humble Bundles these days aren't much better and cost more on average. I sort of like the recycling because sometimes there's a game or two I want after I've picked five but not enough to get to ten so I ultimately forego them... but can now pick them up later in a subsequent bundle.

It also removes a lot of the feed-bad for not picking up one of their bundles where you have everything but 1 or 2 games, and the one or two you don't have clearly isn't the "headliner" or what people are really looking for. (The stuff that's kinda interesting, but not $5 interesting.)

 
Just mentioning that today is the last day to spend any of those $1 summer scorcher fanatical vouchers.  I had two and found a couple of dlc items to grab free.

Currently have three bundles in my cart waiting to see what happens.  Usually don't pull the trigger on them until the 'expiration' timer starts running.

I wish I checked this thread a day or two earlier. I've had my eye on the Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero dlc for the base game for a while but it rarely if ever goes on sale now that the Ultimate Edition is out. $10 would've been worth buying another copy, along with Mighty Switch Force and something else. Thanks anyway.

I'd like to buy the Wayforward games out of this, but I'm getting the odd feeling that something in this sale is going to end up in this month's Humble Choice, just like happened with The Surge 2. 

So, no purchase for me until after tuesday. (Thought if Half Genie hero stays sold out, it's getting much closer to "no purchase at all").

Heads up, looks like Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition just showed back up in the bundle.

 
Never been a huge fan of the cookbooks, but for free I'll check out the Python one. I could see if the PHP one has anything interesting as well. I will not learn Assembly language again and anywhere I would work that required it I would quit immediately. Nonetheless, thanks for pointing them out.
