Fandango woes

For those that don't know, Fandango is currently offering a buy one get one free offer for anyone that uses a specific URL and buys the tickets using a visa signature card. The offer is good until Saturday morning.

I saw this deal listed on spoofee so as per the instructions, I go to fandango and add the two tickets I want to buy and check out with a visa signature card.

And then I found out I was charged full price for the tickets. At the time I didn't know you had to use a SPECIFIC promo link to get the deal. Worse still Fandango offers no way to cancel or exchange your tickets.

I ended up looking pretty foolish in front of the family member I was trying to buy tickets for.  (

Ya today is the last day of that promotion its been running almost all summer long.

You had to use the link - https://tickets.fandango.com/visasignature to see if you qualify (promo can only be used once per 30 days per unique visa signature card) then it will add the promo code before checkout.

, wish I'd seen this sooner. Could've tried to use it on the DBZ movie that was out last week.... would've offset my frustrations on the outrageous "convenience fees" they charge.

Oh well..... if I hadn't used them to preorder early I wouldn't have gotten a ticket since it was sold out before I got there (an hour early mind you). And missing a movie that epic is criminal lol.
