Farcry online? Metroid 3 update

"Nintendo Power has gone on release over in the US and luckily some of its more interesting news has spilled forth, including details on Harvest Moon for Wii, Metroid Prime 3 and much more.

First of all, according to the publication, the build of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption seen at E3 is being completely spruced up for its 2007 release and will look MUCH more impressive, rather than merely a shinier edition of MP2 from the GameCube. Next is that Harvest Moon for Wii will be released in Q4 2007. Also, it has been confirmed that Sonic & the Secret Rings will include more than 30 mini-games to flesh out the multi-player side of the game. Finally, there talk of new game-related Wii Channels being unveiled and Ubisoft is considering including online play for Far Cry Vengeance!"

Pokemon is Online in December on Wii. I think the big secret thats been hinted at might be one or two of the games will be online.

Far Cry has always been a title that has caught my eye. So it is nice to hear that Ubi is thinking about adding online play to the game.

If Red Steel just made some good controlls it would be great, COD and Farcry looks okey but its just ports, guess we gotta wait until Metroid comes out to get a great exclusive shooter.

And why none of the shooters got online is beyond me, Farcry would get a huge + for this.

I'm actually going to get FacCry eventually for the Wii instead of the 360 because Ubisoft said the story was expanded and a lot longer and new charecters would be in it that are Wii exclusive. If its online then I might get it a lot sooner then I thought I would.

MP3 will look better? I sure hope so as beautiful graphics are one thing I expect from the MP series.

I don't know how they plan to make FarCry online though as I thought 3rd parties couldn't go online right away.
Whats going to be the best shooter, Farcry, red steel, or COD (not including MP3)
I honestly think that CoD3 will be amazing. I watched some of the game footage at IGN and it looks great and runs very smoothly. Plus it looks like it'll be easier to control than any of the other FPSes during launch.

Well they can't go online at launch since the service won't be available from the start. However it could still go online at a later date using a patch.

Was FarCry still set for launch? I lose track of which Ubi titles were still go and which had gotten pushed back.

I'm getting Red Steel, but COD3 has indeed gotten me interested. Lots of positive buzz so far.

I'd kill for some Metroid Prime 3 news right about now. If it was coming out at launch like originally planned, I'd be breaking out in hives right now in anticipation for next Sunday. I hope a March/April release is in the works!

Yeah, I think Far Cry is still set to be released in the launch window. According to Gamespot it is due out December 5th.

Red Steel and COD 3 are looking like must buy titles. I think I'll pick them up sometime after I get the Wii.

The only Ubisoft delay I've heard of is Blazing Angels, so they should still be flooding the market with seven other launch titles.

All those UBi games are in the launch window, which is till the end of December, so an online Far Cry wouldn't be impossible. Hopefully they get it done.

I was at gamestop earilier today watching a bunch of Middle school kids playing Excite Truck.

First let me say that if you have an HD TV getting Component Cables is a requirment because without them the game looks completly different from the videos online.

Back to it. I didn't play it myself because too many people were around, but it was a hit. A huge hit. All of them. Around 10 kids and a couple adults said they would get the machine this upcoming Sunday.

I don't know about you guys but this and all the news is starting to get me nervous about my odds of getting a system day one.

Does anyone know if Gamestop will have extras beyond the preorders? ? ? Because if they don't I'll probably use that coupon and go to Circuit City.
