Right on the auction page, last I knew japanese 360s only play jap games, and US only US, thats why i didnt import onechanbara vortex :/

I know I probably shouldn't bring this up, since I don't honestly know if it would work... but if you flashed the firmware on the DVD drive, could you play discs from ALL regions? (Leaving all the illegal crap out of the equation.)

It is NTSC in display format (European = PAL), but Japanese Xboxs will only play native Japanese and region-free (Chinese/Hong Kong) games.
