Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake Psp 9.99 amazon (19.99 gamestop)
Thanks OP, this will go great with Pixel Junk Deluxe!!!! =D
Seconded. Threw this on there with Pixel Junk :D
anyone know if the game is worth 10... thinking about adding to an order i got at amazon. but dont know much about the game
Yeah, its worth more then 10, the PS3 one was great and lots of fun, going to buy this also with Pixel monsters, the games are great fun.

A UMD. I wonder if the $9.99 price is a new trend? PixelJunk Monsters was also officially reduced to $9.99. Would be a great move by Sony.

I was really looking forward to Fat Princess on the PSN. Unfortunately, having bought and played it, I consider it one of the biggest letdowns of 2009. The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but the key to success is teamwork. For a game that relies so heavily on teamwork, you really can't find it on the PSN. I suppose this can be attributed to the PSN's poor matchmaking and high % of players without a headset.

I really can't recommend the game for a platform that offers an even worse online experience. I guarantee bot matches will be fun for the first 30 minutes and extremely repetitive thereafter.

Thanks OP, I was very mixed on this but for $9.99 I will grab. Also going to pass this on to a special someone, she will love this price. Sadly both of our Prime is over.

Thanks Again

Hate to sound like a RETAR* , wait WTF it wont let me type to word RETAR* , Are you fucking kidding me......... RETAR* , RETAR* , RETAR* , RETAR*

well anyways .... Is this a digital download or UMD ?

This is infrastructure right? If so I'd get it for a couple of a weeks of great multi alone knowing it would be dead in 6 months.

Its a umd, a good price too.

Nice! I just recently bought a Go but still have my 1001... To buy it on the cheap or not to buy it on the cheap (from the PSN once released)... hmm

I hope it is. It would be a good answer to the horrible software sales on PSP and maybe a few pirates would come for cake, monsters, and whatever else comes after.

I've been wanting to get this game ever since it came out. Finally reached the price point I was hoping for.

Hmm... 10 dollar games on release? Sounds awesome! Might get one for a friend because I don't have a PSP. The last time I saw a game reach this price point on release was castle Shikigami 2 for the PS2.
IIRC, Patapon 2 and Locoroco 2 UMDs are 10 bucks in GS and EB (dunno if there is any more stock left...)

The PS3 version is cute but lost appeal for me very quickly.

IMO the best PSN game with great online play is Crash Commando....I've played it almost every day since it launched two Decembers ago and it never gets old for me.

Patapon 2 wasn't released on UMD in the US, as far as I know. You got a UMD case with a code to DL it.

Can anybody confirm the full details of the Infrastructure play in the PSP version? How many players, etc. I tried Googling for details, but today my Google-Fu is weak.

I believe new Playstation Nation Podcast was supposed to have impressions. So hopefully that comes out tomorrow.

I've been interested in this game for a while now, but have no PS3. PSP version would be awesome; but only if it has infrastructure online play. None of my local pals are into portable gaming. Grr!

Gametrailers review is up. Sorry, I can't post link to it since I'm a newbie around here.

Online for up to eight players is awesome, but no voice chat is troubling. I can't complain at $9.99, but I do wish Sony would get their developer ducks in a row since most new PSP systems have built-in microphones. More support for infrastructure in online games, and generally exploit the features of the hardware which just cries out to be taken advantage of.
so if i wanted a single player game Pass this up??

EDIT bad new now amazon says it has no idea when it will come out
Free shipping sucks LOL

recently played this game.. there was at least 8 players in game for adhoc, never tried infrastructure yet because not that many ppl has the game yet, i was maybe a lucky few to get ahold of this game before release.. if you tried the ps3 version.. i'm pretty sure you will enjoy this version as well.. there are also several new maps. one thing that i felt different was theres none of that quick class change double attack they had on the ps3 version.. CML if anyone is interested in a download copy.. i may have 2 left ( 1 pending out)

Argh! My buddy Jason won a copy from Playstation Nation Podcast.

So tempted to pick up a copy, but will wait. I've got plenty to play in the meantime.
