Fatal Frame 3 [PS2] NOW [12/26] $19.98 at TRU B&M

Well the auctions I listed were sold BEFORE Fatal Frame III was marked down to $10.00. Unless a lot of people got in on this mark down early then this could be true. Not to say that this will not go back up in the future, but I doubt the sag in ebay closings were to to this.
 
If anyone can pick me up a copy, can they PM me? If I see any extra copies, I will try and get them and sell them to fellow CAGs at the sale price as well.....

*I'm going to add that if I do end up getting multiple copies, it's going to be limit one per person just so other people will have a shot at this as well.

I think helping the CAG community get in on a deal is great. But just be aware that some people will take advantage of generosity.

I hope the guy at least left 1 at the store... buying 5 for CAG's online is great, but what about CAG's in this guy's area? He just cleaned out an entire store so, while other CAG's may benefit, let's hope there are none in this guy's area who wants to get in on the hot deal.

He's most likely a hoarder..doubt a true "gamer" would buy all 5 and give it to there mom, dad, sister, etc..what I do detest as a CAGer are hoarders, and that "Capitalism for the win, BS".....I would limit it to one per person...were I selling it, but your generousity was taken advantage of.

I think you would help the cag community more by not buying any more copies of Fatal Frame III. There is no way any person would need 5 copies unless they're ebaying them (trading them in for at least twice at much store credit, etc).

If you really wanted to give back to the community why would you sell all 5 to one person? And please do us all a favor and stop buying them I think were all capable of getting to a TRU to get our own. But anyway if you really did have 5 that you were gonna try to sell to other CAGs at cost thanks. And whoever bought all 5 from you is a definitly gonna ebay them. oh well

i went to the one at bayparkway brooklyn, dekalb ave brooklyn. my friend went to ridgewood queens. none of them have FF3. im sure timesquare dont have it also.
 
Thanks for the tip about FF3. I went to TRU today expecting they'd all be gone but they had about 5 copies still. Excellent deal at only $10.

I'm really glad I was finally able to score this at such a cheap price. I was holding out for a while hoping they'd bring FF3 to the Xbox like they did with FF2 and the extra content, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Fatal Frame 1 & 2 are two of my all-time favorite games and they totally blow-away anything in the Resident Evil or Silent Hill series, IMO.
 
I picked up one copy, and I was going to get one more for either a gift or for a CAGer, but the guy was pretty busy, it was in the back, and I didn't want to make the people in the line angry. I might be over there after Christmas, so I'll post here if I get more.
 
Anyone in the Pomona, CA area. I found 2 copies of Fatal Frame III at the Pomona Towne Center TRU, next to the CC. Looks like they put them in those plasic cases and stuck them on the shelf.

I hid them on the shelf behind some Karaoke Revolution Country. No one will ever find them! :b

Also found a copy Phoenix Wright, rang up $19.99. I didn't buy it. They might have more... I didn't search that hard for it.

Found one copy of Trapt for $10.50, bought that.

I tried the Burnsville MN TRU on Tuesday, but no joy. They are sold out.

I'd be willing to pay $20+ship (?$5) if someone happens to have an extra factory-sealed copy they don't feel like flipping on ebay. I can pay through paypal.

I think my TRU has some or they did last I went. I still have the copy I got at Gamerush when it came out, sealed at home, because I have yet to beat the first game. I'll see if I can pick any up to help out. I was going to the mall tonight anyways to go Battlestar Galactica die cast searching so hey, why not.
 
I managed to get the last copy at the garden city TRU in NY. I went by a few more to see if i could get an extra to help some of you guys out but no luck. Thanks for the heads up OP ^_^
 
Did you all know you can go direct to customer service & request transfer item from another TRU store to your store. That's reason i scored Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for $24 plus taxes while back ;)
 
Went to my TRU last night. I was surprised to see that they still had 3 display copies left on the shelf, but they were still marked at the 49.99 price. I took one of the display copies and waited in one of the 2 check out lines to get a price check as the store was busy with no one to help me on the floor. I asked the girl at the register for a price check and she said off the top of her head 39.99....???....I told her to scan it anyway, as I told her I thought it should be 10 bucks. Giving me a bad ass look, she unlocked the cabinet behind the counter where they keep the real games and scanned it....WHAM....9.98 came up. She then looked at the kid working the other register and with a look of disbelief related to him the price of the game. With people still waiting in his line , he locked his register went out to the shelf, picked up the last 2 display copies, took the 2 remaining copies out of the locked cabinet and took them to the back room.....WTF?......:bomb: .........I guess those are the perks of working at TRU.....something told me I should have grabbed all 3 copies.

I wouldn't call that a perk..I would've reported his ass to the manager and should've said that you were going to buy the remaining in a little bit, and wanted to check the price to make sure. I've done that before and got the kid in shit for it, but was teaching him a lesson, on purpose that some customers may want it, and he should've bought it, on an off day and not during a break from his shift.

When I found out a TRU employee was hiding the copies on me, I did buy both copies they had just to spite the guy to make sure he didn't get one.. he wouldn't even look me in the eyes as I bought them.
 
My TRU hasnt had anything that good for a couple months. The selection is very thin on most systems, about the only games that are plentiful are new releases and the VERY CRAPPY games that arent even worth $5. I hardly can find any good deals like this one on Fatal Frame 3 ever.

If anyone's willing to trade Minish Cap and Deep Labyrinth, both sealed, from the TRU clearance, I'd be most happy to trade my sealed Fatal Frame III.
