FBI going after Wikipedia

Even if it is technically illegal, don't they have bigger fish to fry. They sure know how to endear themselves to the American public.

wat was that site that leaked out the afgan papers...w...wick...wick-key something, fuck it just punch that shit into google

ah there we go wikipedia, lets take them down

I thought you had to be a Police man to be hired by the FBI. I looked in their hiring process and you have to be:
23-37
US Citizen
Have a clean record
Have a Bachelors degree
Pass their security clearance
Pass their Physical test

I know, totally unrelated but I always thought getting into the FBi was really hard but it's kind of like every other business.Kind of.

Not everyone who works for the FBI is what you'd call a "cop". Not everyone is a gun toting field agent. They actually actively look for people in fields like accounting, computer science, mathematics etc. Those people usually make good analysts.

The FBI probably wants favors for using their logo (anti-drug ad, FBI propaganda, etc). They don't want some commie information-sharing website to get away with using it for free.

Umm...no. These are the minimum requirements, but it's not like everyone who is a citizen in the age range gets a crack at it. There are also quite a few other steps that seem to be missing.

I can see why it would make sense in cases of libel and making up false lies and accusations about others...but what other reasons could they have for picking on little ole wiki?
