Federal Reserve Refuses to Disclose Where the $2 TRILLION in Loans Have Gone
I started whipping my ass with $100 bills, toilet paper will be worth more by the end of the year.
At least the money is backed with something now.

Hmm. Let's put the dollar on the shit standard.

I've a feeling it's all of it was used to bailout Big Financial.
And people actually balked at a $14 billion bailout for Big Auto, when 1000X as much was used to clean up Wall Street's messes.

I blame the unions. Blue collar workers making a living wage are the enemy. Bank owners making tens of millions of dollars per year need that money to survive.

fuck this shit.

I'm gonna go build my own federal reserve, with black jack and hookers. In fact, forget the reserve and the black jack.

Saw it coming from Day 1. The Government determines who it goes to, then those people sit on the money until the Government forgets. Then the Government says people can't handle the truth.

Scoop some up while you still can. They are going fast on Ebay.

Its an old trick to destroy debt. Sink the whole ship. If I owe you $1000 and I print money from the bank of DMK to cover it, inflating the value, I still only have to pay you $1K. In the end, I've actually paid you LESS.

myke, your economic knowledge seems to have improved in the last couple of years.

Yes, and as an indirect tax it's also easier to slip past the masses than a direct tax.

last couple of years? I've been touting how explosively self-defeating supply-side has been for the better part of a decade, hombre. And nobody seems to grasp, even today, how much that has contributed to where we're at.

Are you saying supply-siders are solely responsible for too much money being printed?

:wall:

EDIT: I'm going to play Oblivion for a bit, but my short response is that supply-side economics policies have made us dependent on foreign backing to cover our deficit-spending asses, contributed to the destruction of organized labor, dissolved what we bring in per year in taxes, and exacerbated the already-enormous wealth and income gaps between the top quintile and the bottom 4.

When you're done banging your head into the wall, I hope you see fit to explain to lil' ol' me...

Edit: Saw your edit. When you return, I'm curious to know if you think supply-side economic policies are solely responsible for the problems you mention.

Is it supply side economics to give out welfare to corporate farms so that they can sell their food out of country cheaper than local farms in other countries which caused those people to work in sweatshops which in turn reduces the number of jobs in America?

Oh, thank God. It's a trick designed to destroy debt. This is okay with me. I thought the Treasury were fucking retarded.

Yeah, I had a stain on my bathtub. To get rid of it, I poured gasoline all through my house and burned the house and bathtub into charred rubble.

That showed that stain.

Well, what supply side economics essentially boils down to is tax cuts for the rich and not much else. I'm sure some supply siders support corporate welfare and some don't. I'm also sure some who aren't supply siders support corporate welfare and some don't.

BTW, myke sure has been playing Oblivion for a long time. :)
We really do need to fully nationalize them.
Totally. Being dicked around by a 'quasi-public' banking entity for 95 years is wayyyyy too long in my book.

Side note: Does anyone else think that the idea of 'elastic currency' is a complete joke? Seeing as the Fed has done nothing but stretch the shit out of the dollar since not long after its (the FRS, not the dollar) inception. I know there is an issue with contracting the money supply and a deflationary recession, but uh, we have a recession/depression on our hands ALONG with a totally devalued currency anyway.

Nationalizing them isn't close to being enough, unfortunately.

Remind me tomorrow. Drinking beer and watching the wire. Goddamn you're annoying and tenacious about wrenching a response out of me.

Jesus.
