Feedback for Vendetta Online

After trying and disliking Eve Online, I am still in search of a space combat game, online or offline. Fast pace would be a bonus.


Looking to get some opinions on Vendetta Online. Metacrtic reviews are dated back to 2005-2007.

Anyone have a recent experience? Thanks.

X3 series is good but it has a very slow start and is really a sandbox game like.. morrowind in space without the story or mount and blade in space... so you have to have your own goals. once you make some money and outfit a ship its pretty good. never tried vendetta online but i can say stay away from space cowboy and all of its variations.
