that would make the world better.
Aris is too good. He's my idol.
I need to watch it. Aris + Hank = epic beard
2 Hits is not a combo!
for you, it was getting hit by an EX jaguar kick.

for Re Ro, it was tuesday.
I'm actually stoked to see what the achievements will be..
stolen from GAF but it'd be nice if it looked like this:

I really doubt it will be re-drawn. I have a feeling the sprites will just be cleaned up. Hopefully all 3 (4? think they'll bother including the regular version of MK3?) will have online play.

It would be cool if MK4 Arcade was an unlockable.... just for shits.

Gonna ask here before eBay.... does anyone want any of the following for a reasonable price?

Happ modded SF Anniversary Stick (PS1 plug, will work with PS2 or any converter)
Pelican PS2 -> PS3 Adapter
Hori Tekken 5 stick (PS2, 2 available)
Round 1 TE (360)

Hate to sell this stuff but I am quite broke at the moment.

depending on the price I might need the pelican for an art show in toronto, but if I get it I won't be paying, someone else will >_

Ok guys, so maybe any of you that have BlazBlue CS can help. I tried playing the other day, and I was going through the tutorial because I heard it was actually quite helpful. Well it is, except that I cant get past the fucking beginner mode. You know how it has you press one button for the weak move? Well for some reason I couldn't get past that part, even though I was pressing the correct button (I think it was the square button). I eventually just skipped it and went to the advanced tactics but I'd still like to go back and beat the beginner part since I believe there's a trophy associated with the tutorial. I know none of this probably made any sense, but I had to get it off my chest because it was so annoying. Did any of you encounter even anything remotely similar to my problem?

While I still don't think there's more than 2-3 games that have any chance of being good this fall, I'm really looking forward to the Kinect... seeing this thing get destroyed in November is going to be more fun than any game.

You mean in sales? I think Kinnect is gonna sell boat loads.

Yeah the game looks crappy, but this will be the first "fighting game". I really want to see third strike with Kinect *parry parry parry*

I really don't even think it'll sell well... it's basically a more expensive Wii, and that's likely all that *normal* people are going to see.

But it will definitely get destroyed in terms of reviews/people's opinions. I can't imagine anyone liking this thing after the initial 5-10 minutes. And that should lead to comedy!

I don't remember having to actually use beginner mode in the tutorial, it was just explained to me.
that reminds me: did anyone ever try that MK Armageddon wii version with motion controls?
Yeap but the problem with it was the motion control was only for the custom fatalities and a few special moves, otherwise you used the d-pad for most of the attacks. Took a lot of getting used to. Though last I checked it was semi-rare so went for a decent amount on fleabay.

Ryu looks pretty fitting in Tekken X SF

makes sense Evil Ryu is in there too.

EDIT: Awesome to see tech rolling in SF x T

I vote that whenever we make mention of something that requires visual imagery to talk about, we post a link to such image.

Hey FGT, what's the opinion on Blazblue Portable? It's the same price as the original BlazBlue now, but I'm looking into the PSP one because it would easier for dorming than hogging the TV practicing and playing it. How does it compare?

Don't bother. There's no reason to play a fighter on a portable when there's a console version out there. I'd rather play nothing than a portable fighting game.

I played it for roughly 3 days from gamefly and I have to say I'm very impressed with it.

It's basically a really damn close port to the home version with nothing missing that I can think of other than downscaled graphics which still look nice. I'd say go for it.

Can we get a link to said video with Evil Ryu and tech-rolling?

Also, Rolento, that was just a Toby Keith music video which was funny. I'm guessing you were talking about the MK2 thing?
