From Magic Box:

SNK Playmore will release Garou Densetsu Battle Archive Vol. 2 for PS2 in Japan on February 22, 2007. The game will include Garou Densetsu Real Bout, Real Bout 2 and Real Bout Special.

I'll be picking this up just for Real Bout 2.

Thanks for the info. I, too, will be picking this up solely for Real Bout 2. I'll probably grab this and Hokuto no Ken in one shot. Then I'll play those games for 7 hours a day and then beat the shit out of the people at my school until I go to sleep.

I already have Real Bout and Real Bout Special for Saturn. Maybe it's time to eBay that puppy. The load times in that game are awful.
Whoa Foley I dunno what happened there but we got all disconnected there!

Anyways GGs Rolento and JimFoley!
... and yes, I still suck at UMK3 >_<

get some sleep... you need that energy for castlevania.

didn't realize it, but it seems DR is not a replacement for Tekken 6. Tekken DR will be an online game download while Tekken 6 is still being made, so good news for you :)

Got DOAU today. Why wasn't an online version of DOA3 included? I mean, would it have been a snap to take the game (with the changes made to the 3.2 version) and stick in online play? Why didn't they do that instead of throwing in DOA1?

While having an ultimate version of 3 would make the package truly "Ultimate", I'm more than happy with the ultimate version of 2 on the package.

Probably because it was easier to make netcode for DOA1 than for 3, or maybe because they didn't want to lose out on any potential says for the platinum hits version of DOA3.

Busta/Rolento/Anyone else from CAG - down for some UMK tonight?

I'll see if I can record again... I'm genna try a different program since I noticed the big problem was the file size...

they said it was because they wanted all versions of DoA on the Xbox, including 1. some pride thing I guess...

real reason, imo-- DoA2 was the main feature, had a full development cycle from the bottom up, but wouldn't have been played if an online, updated version of 3 was on there. so doa1 was deserted instead, but it was probably pretty cheap to throw together.

And nobody even touched DOA1 for X-Box.

Hey guys I'm new here and I'd like to join the community. I like SNK fighters the most, but I pretty much play anything from Tekken to Last Balde.
Last Balde.
That's all I needed to hear!

Last Balde!

Shit must be an awesome haircut fighter.

What's up, Raz. Welcome.

i like that they have it posted like it's proof of dr being released for a console. "DISREGARD ALL THE MAGICAL WIRES AND BOXES, THIS IS A CONSOLE RUNNING IT. NO REALLY."

Was wondering if one of you could fill me in on the story behind Rock Howard. I just watched the vid Apossum posted awhile ago an saw that he was useing a mix of Terrys and Geese's moves. I take it he is Geese's kid, though I am wondering how the hell he learned Terrys moves as well?

After Terry defeated Geese, Terry took Rock in and trained him. However Rock resists his father's blood and want's nothing to do with him. So since Terry trained him Rock knows moves like the Rising Tackle but with his father's blood he can do moves like the Repukken and Raging (Rising) Storm. Rock is a very cool character. I always liked both Terry and Geese and mixing the two characters is a real treat for fans of the Fatal Fury series.

Not a fighting game but Famitsu reviewed SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters for DS: Not a great score, but not a bad score. I was hoping the last SNK vs Capcom game would go out with more of a bang.

SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters DS (SNK Playmore): 7, 6, 5, 7 - (25/40)

beforehand I already decided no matter the score (unless it was below a 3) that I'd pick it up. I love video game card games and I love the SNK and Capcom references in these games.

Regarding Tekken 5: DR on PS3.

I definately don't think there will be endings at all. 800 MB? From 3.59 GB arcade size to 800 MB. I'm guessing that will be a nope.

nvm, didn't even realized they released the filesize already. The arcade intro will most likely be there since it's not too long.

Why the hell would they decrease the file size when the game is gonna be on a fucking Blu-Ray disc?

Oh, and SC2 rules ass.
