what is the system requirements for Melty Blood??

West Toast IX and X are coming in December and February respectively and feature both MB and GGXXAC... I may be able to enter both???
get yourself one of these. The ultimate master bible:
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-lz-77-6-49-en-15-Melty-70-29ud.html

the best name for a strategy guide ever. It's not a strat guide, it's an ultimate master bible. :lol

and yeah, the game's requirements only call for a computer that's not more than 5 years old.

I dont even know what bat stick means. I've got a few Hori's - The Soul Calibur GC, the Wii & the Tekken 5 one. Also the Street Fighter Anniversary one, which is the one I'm most used to.

SF Anniversary stick = bat, Tekken 5 one = Hori.

The bat style stick in the SF Anniversary stick is what you'll get in a MAS stick (though higher quality in the MAS) and to me, it just doesn't feel like it has as much mobility... more difficult to use in stuff like Guilty Gear.

MAS sticks are probably the best shield you'd want if someone was coming at you with an axe... they're that durable...

It's an American style arcade stick that uses HAPP parts. Depending on the type of MAS stick (Ultimate/Competition/P360) the overall feel of the actual stick will differ... It feels WORLDS different from a Japanese style arcade stick (Hori/Sanwa/Seimitsu)... so yea... If you're already used to Hori, and like them, I'd say stick with that.

I have a Happ stick and competition buttons in my custom stick. I'm thinking about making my next one a Semitsu or Sanwa stick. Any good places to buy the parts online? Maybe I'll just throw them in my Tekken 5 stick.

Anyone have a link to a good Arcana Heart Wiki/FAQ?

I know SmallWind posted one a while back (I think) but I'm too lazy to search for it right now.

EDIT: Nevermind...I found one

Rodimus - Just a heads up, they are hosting a VF5 tournament (360) on the boards. I think it's in the Xbox 360 forum. Go win that shit ;)

someone hand rodimus the trophy already!

as for prizes I have an udon poster that's lying around but don't want it to go out for this tourney... plus I don't know how to ship it cheap >_
weird to say is but GS may help fighters a bit if this shit goes well and isn't just EA sports titles and Halo:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163308
Hopefully they will but I am definitely not holding my breath.

I always feel lucky that I live in an area that has a strong fighting game scene. Having a place to constantly compete in fighting games would be great for people who aren't so lucky.

Then again if this store is anything like the stores around my area expect a lot of Smash, Halo, Gears, Pokemon (DS) and Guitar Hero.

Also thanks for the Wiki SmallWind. I found that late last night since I was confused bout how the Arcana system works.
Plus you owe that Udon poster to me! :)
if I can't find anywhere, then yes, it's yours. your room is like a poster breeding ground anyway >_<

I got some other shit I can get rid of as well that CAGs here may want but I'll have to figure a way to get rid of em...

Yeah, I signed up. I play VF5 about once a week online. Hope I can win this for the fighter thread. My Lei Fei is still top notch.

DO IT!

Someone needs to see if Thomas96 is going to enter. He did defend VF5 pretty heavily in the SFIV thread. Wonder if he is any good.
wtf, where the hell is alvin lee on pencils? booooooo
yeah, it's weird... he was Udon's leading artists and then he just barely does anything now. Then again, he was probably doing too many projects at once, but that guy is amazing.

Nice vid.

Is there any explanation for the severe back pain every character in Tekken seems to suffer from? I love the series (have every game...even 4) but I can't stand that exact same animation with the death of every character. I was hoping with 6, they could at least made each person have a unique death animation.

I don't think this has been mentioned yet but...

Hokuto no Ken is getting a BEST rerelease in February. It's a bit cheaper at NCSX compared to Play-asia (which is odd) but either way, hooray for me holding off on buying it at $60-70.

Nice! I was wondering why it was OOS on Play-Asia

Great game. Definitely worth the $60+ I originally paid for it.

Yeah same here, but I wish I had people to play with. Another excellent fighter that nobody plays.

wow... the quality is great! thx MM

anyone get this?

its silly, but adds flavor to alot of games (mainly Tekken).

also, the official answer on what Poison actually is:

also... sweetness! shirtless dragunov!

also, bryan's jacket rocks!

my guess, from what I've seen, is that all male characters have the ability to be shirtless... not always a good thing, but at least JEKKI can stare at this instead:
That same somebody is praying to god that SC IV is good.
 well, the one thing I love about SCIV is that even if competitive play and vs. are bad, at least the single player always seems to hold up and be beefy.

On the same token, though, in SC3 if they spent less time on create-a-character, quest mode and everything else and instead just focused on the versus play - well then who knows. Might've ended up being excellent.

The Single-Player mode for SCIII was frustrating. I remember hating it. At least it had that trick to get infinite money. I didn't play much Vs. Mode so I'm not sure why every dislikes it, but I'm sure there's a good reason.

after finally reading the EGM article, I am expecting to see this game bring back love for fighters.

I think it's going to turn out to be one of those titles that has a long following of even casual players, much like what Halo did. I think the gameplay mechanics and game itself can hold that to be true, but the online part will be truly what tests this theory. though I will say I know that capcom is building a brand new net code for this game that has yet to be used on any other titles (other than SFHDII) and is very specific to the game.

I don't know if I mentioned it before here.. All T6 characters are pretty much naked... everything is layers even the default costumes... So not only do you have the ability to add on items, you can take some off...

Namco did this intentionally for future online updates and to maximize customizability...

I think I remember you saying that... pretty damn cool. I'm glad they will have online updates for custom items unlike T5/DR. I really hope my local gameworks pics this game up since they sometimes pick up fancy stuff... though mainly sega stuff >_
