Just got back from my local TRU in Jersey City, NJ, and they had a few copies of Final Fantasy XII in a clearance bin. It had a $10 sticker on it, but it scanned as a promo at $5. It rang up at $10, but the cashier overrode it. It's still $20 in a lot of places, so if you ever wanted to get in on the FF series, have some laughs.

I returned all PM's and I was able to pick up a few more today, so if anyone is having an issue finding it, let me know and we can work something out.

Also, should any of you live in an area where they had Street Fighter Alpha Anthology for $14.99 at Best Buy, perhaps we can work a lovely trade...

$5 (Cost) + .38 (tax) + shipping + paypal fees/gas/retirement (like a buck or 2)

Grabbed the last 4 copies of FFXII at mine. They had about 30 copies of Lumines II at $4.99, grabbed 2. Might go back and grab the rest. Let me know if you want one of the Lumines II. Handing the FFXII to friends.

I went to Torrance CA but it wasn't there. they did have several Gran Turismo 4 at 9.98. I'm guessing this might be at $5 as well.

Sucky that Bomberman was 14.99 at my TRU, for $5 I would've taken it. :(

I got some copies.
Don't Worry, I waited for a while so everyone had a chance to get it.
At Closing, I grabbed a couple.

Also picked up..Tokobot plus? Something like that.
 
Grabbed the last copy of FFXII at the Woodfield/Schaumburg, IL Toys R Us. There was nothing else of interest in that nearly empty bin. =(

The guy in front of me got the second to last copy and looked at me kind of weird. I wonder if he's a CAG. I probably should've said something like "Well there you go" to catch his attention.

Anyways, Redwood Is out of them. There was 3 when I left, but as I was leaving, I heard that people working there got them.

Indeed. There's another TRU within striking distance of here, so if I get up and go, I will see if there are any FF12 copies there.
 
snagged a copy... my TRU had about 8 hidden away, so if anyone needs a copy, hit me up with a pm and we might be able to work something out.

also, is there a list of some sort that has all the games that have been discounted to $5?

[edit] i have 4 copies available... more interested in trades than selling them. have a few people PM me already, but nothing finalized yet.

Grabbed Final Fantasy XII, Tokobots Plus, DBZ Tenkaichi, MGS3 snake eater, and Lumines Plus for $5 each. Also found other titles for $5 but didn't get were gangs of london, gta vice city, and some type of virtua tennis game by sega for psp.
 
FYI for anyone near Elizabeth, New Jersey. The TRU there (exit 13A) has a ton of these $5 titles. They had many copies of FF12, Snake Eater, Live Arcade Unplugged, etc. I was going to get some, but unfortunately, due to the area the store is in, everything is locked behind class, even clearance stuff. The store was packed, and I didn't feel like waiting forever to get the games. Too bad.
 
All the toys r us had for the under $10 clearence was monster trucks and poker for the ds. namco and pac-man for the gba. 100% pure crap.
 
The TRU in Westport, ct is closing, and pretty much everything is 20% off. Unfortunately, I guess that overrides the other promotions or something, 'cause FFXII rang up $8. $8 is still great, so I snapped it up, and they had a few copies left. I also picked up KoFXI for $12.
 
Mine had them but all sold out :(. Is there anyway that TRU might restock them? My TRU has those damn paper tickets that you pull from a sleeve and take to the front to get the game. The 50% off deal is posted up right beside them so people see it asap :(.

Did you happen to ask if they had any left? People tend to take tickets and either hide them or just drop them somewhere.

And chances of a restock are minimal. Usually, once they hit clearance, they are gone, especially on a previous gen console. If games do come back into stock, they typically get a new SKN# and go back to regular price.

Hmm, I may call them but I would be afraid that an employee would grab it if I did. I'm not sure I can talk my dad into going back again.
