Just got back from my local TRU in Jersey City, NJ, and they had a few copies of Final Fantasy XII in a clearance bin. It had a $10 sticker on it, but it scanned as a promo at $5. It rang up at $10, but the cashier overrode it. It's still $20 in a lot of places, so if you ever wanted to get in on the FF series, have some laughs.
Not according to the email I received this morning from TRU, stores are closed tomorrow.
They just sent out another email stating that email is incorrect, and that all TRU stores are open 10-9 tomorrow.

Shame. My local Toys R Us PS2 shelf was almost completely bare. An entire 10-foot wall for PS2 games (and a small portion for PS3 games) and there was nothing good on it. All they had left was copies of Harry Potter, High School Musical, Buzz, Pirates of the Caraberian (games of that quality). I've never seen the shelves that empty there. I guess they had a lot of after Christmas business this year or something. Weird.

Funny you should mention that. Mine just showed up as well.

I dunno if any of you are in New York, but did someone look at the Times Square TRU? Just curious cause I don't really wanna go int manhattan tomorrow.

I was at the Times Sqaure store last Wednesday. It was so crowded I didn't even look at the PS2 section but I looked at the DS, GBA, Gamecube and Wii sections and I didn't see any clearance games at all, and they had very little stock of anything.
Yeah, they are and the sale ends 1/1...
Out of curiosity, why would TRU have a sale end on a Tuesday instead of Saturday? I haven't seen an ad for it, just curious...
There was plenty of TT at the TRU near me.
I think I have 3 copies left.
interesting... maybe we can work out a trade for one

Just letting whoever in my area know that I got the last copy of FF 12 last night in Woodbridge NJ.

They also had Gran Turismo 4 (non gh ver) for $5 and Genji and Suikoden Tactics for $10.98 also.
My copies came up at 4.99 today but not going to complain too
much about pennies.

Is this game even any good?

--
$4.99 is the correct price. 50% of 9.98 = 4.99.

yes, it's great and very addictive, though too long.

Went to grab a copy of Lunar Knights (plenty there last Saturday, but they weren't clearanced yet), but all out in Wayne, NJ. Cashier told me some guy came and bought everything good out (went a couple of days before though to grab a few) five minutes before I walked in. Very unfortunate.

I went today just to see what was there, ended up getting Tokobot Plus and Lumines Plus for 4.99 each. They had a ton of Table Tennis.

I checked the TRU in Hagerstown, MD, today, they had two full shelf sections full of FF 12 (two of the little sectioned off squares). The games themselves were unmarked and there was no price tag on either of the two FF 12 shelf cards, but rang up at $4.99.
