I'm looking to buy a used copy of FF III, preferably with instructions. If anyone knows a cheap copy or has a copy themselves, PM me.

You're looking for the SNES cart, right? You know, if you just want the game you could get FF Anthology for the PSX. But, if you're looking for the cart for collector/nostalgia, good luck finding one that's in decent condition. Ebay is the way, my good man!

Or wait for the upcoming port/update of FFIII on the Nintendo DS.

That's the Japanese version of FF3.

No, FFVI was renamed FF3 for it's U.S. release (on the SNES). Now that more FF games have made it over here, they went back to the true numbering of the games.

So, FF6 (originally FF3 in the U.S.) is easily available on the FF Anthology for the PSX. The true FF3 was never released in the States, but is being developed for the NDS. Thus, I must own a DS at some point or another.

USA FF1 = JP FF1 / Origins (with unreleased JP FF2)
USA FF2 = JP FF4 / Chronicles (with Chrono Trigger)
USA FF3 = JP FF6 / Anthology (with unreleased FF5)
