Final Fantasy V Advance - Out NOW!
even early on the encounter rate is pretty high compare to most recent RPG.
I guess I notice it more now because it's alot harder to run in the late game.

i probally wait till the end of nov or Dec 1 to see what i want to pick up.

summon knight 2 gba is taking up all my time (first game was only 10 hours in main quest, so far im around 13 hours in and about 60% done so this 2nd one is a lot better)

then i probally grab FF 3 off gamefly.

one bad thing about getting all rpgs is i wonder if i will burn myself out playing RPG after rpg.

just in hand helds alone i got to play

playing now

summon knight 2 gba
Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony PSP reminds me of brotherhood of blade

then i want to play
children of mana
FF 3
FF 5
magical starsign
Yggdra Union
then all of the RPG games on the sega collection

i figure 1 game per month to beat hell im looking till may 2007 before i beat them all (maybe march 2007 if they dont quite take a month i know summon knight 2 will probally be beat by next friday (almost 2 weeks)

i bought it from outpost for 28.88 with free shipping, should have it soon. but yeah, playing FFXII and wont even get to this anytime soon...

I will say this about the game, I would definitely use a FAQ or guide playing it, as there is a TON of stuff to miss.

You could go through the entire game missing almost every summon.

Ok, so officially the game takes about 20 hours to beat... I'm doing some major grinding and I'm up to about level 22, but I'm fairly certain I could whoop the final boss's ass with ease.

Surprised no one else is talking about it.

Unfortunately, it's under the pile of releases of more popular games like Final Fantasy XII, Gears of War, Guitar Hero II, and the soon-to-come Wii and PS3.

I actually enjoyed this game alot more than FFXII... playing it all the way through, I'd put it right up there with 4 and 6 for me.

I doubt I'll finish FFXII but I like this game enough to master all the jobs and do all the optional shit.

So I finally beat the game last night... did alot of grinding at the end, clocked in at 23 hours total.

The bonus dungeon is pretty stupid imo, it's set up like a maze with a ton of backtracking and alot of "hit this switch to fight this boss to open up this door someplace to find another switch" kind of nonsense that, to me, isn't really alot of fun, since they don't really tell you what to do or where to go. Not to mention you don't get the 4th bonus job until AFTER you beat the final boss of the bonus dungeon... wtf is the point???

But hey, it was still a fun game.

i just send back a game to gamefly today and if it gets fast returned I will grab FF V (if it dont i grab FF 3)

Love to find the game used over at goozex but i doubt many people have it let alone list it.
This game is really really good... I definitely recommend it, I haven't noticed any problems with it at all.
Thanks-- those are just the words I wanted to hear. FFV is one of my favorite games in the series, but I was worried that it'd have the problems that FFIV Advance did.

Time to put this on my Christmas list!

I read somewhere that the reason FF4 was glitchy was because it was ported over from the Wonderswan Color version of the game.
