I finally just bought it. I had the original dvd release and lent it out and they didn't return it.

Even if you already own the dvd, this is well worth it. They did an incredible job with the extra detail that they put into the movie with the blu ray release... and the movie is pretty damn cool to boot.

Hmm, I guess this comes highly recommended? I am playing FF7 for the first time after getting it on sale off a PSN a few weeks ago.Game and story holds up pretty well for something that came out like 15 years ago. I suppose I can pick this up to watch after I finish the game.

i've been trying to hunt it down at most of my Walmarts. every $7.88 blu-ray bin at each store. no dice.
