This game was readily available for a long time, it recently became expensive a year or two ago.

Yeah, had I known.. Think they only went for what, 15$?

I think Advent Children jacked the price a little, plus it's hugely hyped and PS1 games in general are becoming impossible to find except on the internet.

Man 3 years ago I found one for $16 I decided to buy FF( instead and now I wish I had bought FF7.

I snagged a copy off ebay for $35, non-GH in perfectly mint condition. Keep an eye out on there, you might get lucky.

Wow! I had no idea it was that expensive. I used to have two copies but I think I traded one in at EB a few years ago. I wish I had kept it now.

I've got a non-GH copy I wouldn't mind parting with. It has the original case and instructions. It does have a small crack on the back of the case, however. I have no clue what it's worth...

Non-GH copy: Not the "Greatest Hits" version. The original black-stripe.

I would recommend watching ebay. You can find some $35 deals occassionally. I bought a Non-GH copy three months ago near that price a few months ago.

Because of the crazy Collector phenomenon (hey, I used to be one until recently) you can get it cheaper if you don't mind one that is "Greatest Hits" (as others suggested), or maybe missing a manual or something. If you're looking to display your copy under glass instead of just play it, well, that's when it gets expensive!
