For those of you who don't want to visit the other thread ... FF13 gets free shipping from TRU & there's a $10 off coupon code (see other thread) and combine this with Brutal Legend being on sale for $20 and qualifying for the B1G1-$20 off (glitch) and you get both titles shipped for less than the cost of FF13 at retail.

Great deal, again, not taking credit, just trying to let people know since the other thread hasn't been updated yet.

Brutal Legend is fun, but you get to a mission thta is so annoying to complete that you want to throw your controller through your TV set.


FF is getting so so reviews.

I'd keep checking back though, I posted because I grabbed it this morning ... so it's possible it could pop up again at some point, hard to say if the glitch with BL will magically come back as well.
 
The glitch is still fine - it's any game on the b1g1 20 off list + Brutal Legend. So you could do Bayonetta :360: + BL :360: or NSMB Wii :wii: + BL :ps3: or whatever and get BL free.

Deal is NOT dead. Just b/c the PS3 version is OOS doesn't mean it's dead :p For 360 owners, this deal would be very much alive.
 
The deal only worked with the PS3 version as the 360 version of FFXIII is not part of the B1G1 $20 off sale.
 
I just tried this but Brual Legend does give you the extra $20 off. Brutal Legend is $19.99 but it does not add an additional $20 off.

My total for both games (using the coupon) was $77.52.
 
Apparently, FF13 is not available for the promotion. Its about the only game that is not available for the promotion.

The PS3 version is sold out and 360 version is available.
 
That is complete crap on the part of TRU and 360 FF XIII not being included. *dislike* Now, if Brutal Legend is really that decent and NSMBWii is great, might just bite but shipping w/ both titles will lead to a barely discounted BL.

You could add some very cheap item to the order, though that would increase shipping a bit. You'd still get the two games for around $50.

Also, this glitch can be used to get two copies of Brutal Legend for $26 total. If you want to split the cost with someone, that's $13 apiece.
 
If they add the 360 version of the game to the sale, I might have to jump in on this deal. That's a pretty damn good price for 2 games even though I already have Brutal Legend and the PS3 version of FF13, haha.
 
i find it humorous i was the one who mentioned Brutal Legend would be free with any game as it is on the b1g1 $20 off list but Dr.Pizza is solely credited in this thread...just saying if you are going to credit anyone, credit everyone....oh and i'm not seriously upset so don't think i'm complaining, just an observation

anyway, if I didn't have a 6 game list of games i bought but haven't played (curse $10 sales at GC and $20 Band Hero at GoGamer) i would have jumped on this deal but alas I am broke...

It should be. The only reason the B1G1 $20 off promo isn't showing up on FF13 is because it is still flagged as a pre-order for some reason. I'm sending off right now to get that fixed. ;)
 
Just like point out that if you need any fillers for the $10 code with your $39-49 games + free BL, they have a bunch of video game related action figures that are B1G1 half off. I picked up the pretty cool crouching Snake medicom fig, along with the crouching holo Snake. Disidia FF figs, guitar hero, and other various ones are part of this too. The MGS4 figs even came with a free Mighty Beanz thing, which I have no idea what it is or how it even relates in anyway, but free is free.
