Hey guys, so I recently got the CE for the PS4 version of Realm Reborn. I bought it for collection purposes, though, as I play on PC. The registration code that comes with it is for the CE--obviously--and a free month. The digital CE is $60, so this is a bit off of that. The hitch is that the code is a square enix code, not a PSN code.
What this means is, and please read this carefully, if you have the beta client downloaded on your PS4, you can fire it up, put in this code, and boom that's that. The Beta client is the full game, so anything more you need would be downloaded through the client anyway. This is how my PS3 copy worked. I never once inserted the disc. I just used my activation code through my beta client to get the full thing. If you don't have the beta client, then you would need to put the disc to get the client, and this won't work. SO, if you're interested, make sure you still have the beta client installed.
