I believe I have an NVIDIA GeForce, however I have completely forgotten how to check which make/model.
Definitely need to check as that doesn't mean much other than "A card from nvidia in the last however many years". It's possible your setup can't even run it, I know it's been crashing for other people that have way low end systems. My own is far from able to play this game until I get my new video card in and while it loads the benchmark, the screen is black the entire time until the final scoring screen, heh.
Weird, I have a Nvidia GTX 260 and scored a 928 on High (holy crap bad) but scored a 3800 on Low. Which is a weird gap compared to your scores Energist.
Your low sounds very playable. I really wonder how "low" low is. I mean, the resolution is 1280x720(correct horizontal pixels right?), unless the game doesn't offer anything much lower that seems medium to me, but I guess I don't game much on pcs. Your two different scores definitely sound messed up. I've yet to see such disparate numbers. With a 3800 on low I'd expect 2k+ on high just from other peoples scores. Seems like there is a problem somewhere but not sure what you could really do at this point.

i just found something interesting

1. Go to folder FFXIVBenchmark\data\
2. Rename FFXivWinBenchmark.exe to 3DMark06.exe for CrossFireX ( Crysis.exe for SLI )
3. Copy full screen wrapper
d3d9.dll to this folder. ( Not required for SLI )
4. Run 3DMark06.exe ( Crysis.exe for SLI )

I bench 6000ish now
