Finally...Zelda Collector's Edition

SoulEdgeVII

CAGiversary!
I finally got a copy of Zelda Collector's Edition at a Gamecrazy for $3.95 (regular pre-played price was $7.99) since I traded in a game worth $4.04. Funny thing is I lost about 5 bids on ebay that would have set me back about $30 for a game plus shipping. Moral of the story is, if you want a Zelda Collector's Edition, check all your Gamecrazies. Or there's the $54.00 deal at EB :D .

And I thought I got deal when it showed up for free in my mailbox!

But good job on screwing EB out of a potential $50 sale!

I got it for 20 new from NP...I had an extra so ill sold it to eb for 20...they piss me off because not theyre selling it for 54.99 USED!!!!!

Grabbed it from TRU for $10 sealed. It's still sealed, in the stack of games I need to play eventually.
Funny thing is you can still get it with NP for $20.
Can you?? Nintendo.com says it's expired... if you know a way of still getting the NP promotion, please let me know!! I do have the game, but I have a friend who would be forever grateful.

Ditto...

I think the best part of the cost of the Zelda disk at EB is that I overheard someone trading it in last time I was there and they only give you $4 for it! That's a $50 markup!

I have an extra one if you guys are still looking.

PM me if you're interested (it still sealed too-- cousin didn't get a cube for Christmas like his mom said so I couldn't give it to him).

On a simliar note...I almost died holding back last time I went to a GameStop...some kids were trading in STACKS of games and were getting cash (which means trade-in value minus 20%). I wanted SOOOO bad to offer them more (some N64 games for like .50 and the employee said "you aren't EVER gonna play this again...I mean...you are only gonna get 40 cents back--the kid said no). So much pain....some good games I wanted and could have gotten on the cheap cheap...but, its one of the only stores close to me, so I didn't wanna risk not being able to go back.

Yea.. I definitly got mine for free by doing something on nintendo's site where i registered a coulple select games and my system and they mailed it to me for free.

I kind of cheated though because I didn't have the games.. so i went to my local blockbuster and took the paper with the serial codes out of the boxes there.

I really liked it when I got 2 copies for free from just registering a couple of games I would have bought anyway :)

It's really hard to pity anyone for having to overpay for it now... it's not like Nintendo didn't offer 3 easy methods to actually pick up a copy of it.
