I've been using a logitech mx518 for a few years now and the rubber grips are starting to wear. It works fine but it feels like time to move on. I have average size hands but use a fingertip grip(fingers to move mouse, palm doesn't touch mouse). Price range should be below $80 preferably $50-60
Naturally a G400 would be perfect. Its the new MX518.
If you're talking about the rubber grips, no. But I was thinking of trying something new anyhow. That's why I didn't buy a G400 yet.

I also have a fingertip or "claw" grip on my mice, and the Logitech G9x is the best mouse I have ever owned. It's nice and stubby so your palm can rest on the desk, and the rubberized "wide load/comfort grip" feels superb and gives your thumb a shelf to rest on. Adjustable weight. 5 years old and still works like new.

I've bought a Razer and a R.A.T. since buying the G9x to try something new,and have went back to the G9x both times. You can also get replacement grips off the Logitech site for $5 for when the rubberized coating starts to wear. My second is still in good shape after 5 years though, so I don't want to make it out to be a huge problem, but it will happen eventually. I have a third in a drawer somewhere for when it does.

$80 MSRP, but you can readily find them for the $60 price point you are after.

One of my best purchases in 20+ years of PC gaming.

Heck, if you don't mind MW3 branding, here ya go for $45 and free ship http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0MTC788ZRTX02JDDKQ6Z

Hear hear!

Though, my first one did crap out on me. It is still worth it, though.
