Finny the Fish (PS2) $10 w/free shipping at GameStop

Thanks man! This is a really fun game to get for a younger sibling and a lot of fun to play as well when no one else is watching. I just bought one for my own collection.

Well Done, keep'em coming.:applause:

But no plush fish...

Hm... I think I'll tag this for later and come back to it. I've got to pay rent this week and I've bought too many games already this month.

BOOOO! I can't get the freeshipping to work. I'm using the affiliate link, but I'm still having no luck. Maybe I need to clear my cookies? Anyone have any ideas?

You have to use the cheapest shipping. That worked for me.

This finny game sure bring back memories.I was in TRU scaning several games and penny guides to see which one been clearance, then this parent come over.We got a few conversation.

When something like this:
Parent-Do you have Finny?
Me-Finny,who?.I don't know about this finny
Parent-Finny!!How do you not know? You are an employee, right? You should know wither or not the game is in stock!
Me-I'm not an employee.I'm just a regular customer.
Parent-O,I'm sorry. I got confused you are a employee. You were working so hard scaning the items.

I always get tons of parents confusing me as an employee.Asking me questions about the product and where the item is located.Even though I give them all the answer they need.It proves that employee aren't doing their work properly or I'm wearing an invisible TRU smock.

I get that all the time. When parents or grandparents see a twenty something year old guy wearing khakis and a polo in a video game section, they immediately flock to you for help. Especially when you are sifting through stuff or have a large stack of games in your hand. I usually tell them I'm not an employee, but just go ahead and help them out anyway. I think I spent half an hour two weeks ago helping a grandma pick out a game for her 7 year old nieces birthday (she ended up with Zelda: The Minish Cap and her older brother got $2 copies of Viewtiful Joe and Dragon Ball Z: Sagas). Hell, if I could make close to my current salary working retail, I'd probably do it.

That reminds me of the time I helped this mom pick out two GBA titles for her kid. when she checked out, I saw she decided to substitute one of the games (one of the Super Mario Advances) for a Mario Party advance.

I felt so betrayed...

I find this hilarious.

While looking for this game in store, I noticed yet ANOTHER OBSCURE NATSUME FISHING-RELATED PS2 GAME.

River King: A Wonderful Journey

Apparently, it's like Harvest Moon...without the micromanagement and all you need to do is fish and cook. o_O;

It's simplistic but...I might have to pick it up

They made one of those for the PS2? I thought it was only for the Gameboy.

No, it's the new one for PS2, just came out. It's like a full moon. When it happens, no one cares or talks about it. But it happens anyway, and when it does, people just say "oh yeah, yeah, I know about it...." and goes on with life.

Although, fishermen (as in real fishermen, who actually fish every frickin chance they have and own a pole+reel combo that is costs more than 2 new video games) would enjoy the game, eventhough it's not heavy on the simulation. It's just fun to catch fish and keep them in a tank. HOW COOL IS HAVING YOUR OWN FISHERY WITH TROUTS AND BASSES!!!!!!!
It's a new release... with bad reviews.
FREAK the reviews! After this fugged up Minnesota winter, I'm ready for fishing, and Legend of River King will do the job even if it's just for 3 more weeks until it gets to 50 degrees constant.

That, or play that ridiculous Reel Fishing for PSone....that game disturbs me! How do they expect me to fish while listening to porno music!!!!

This game is actually pretty cool, if you can get by the total japaneseness of it. I'm buying it for $10 just for the old frog.

I haven't played this game but have been curious about it ever since it was released in Japan. In Japan it was called "Uo" and it actually got really good reviews but got panned when it was released here. Maybe it's a game that's too Japanese for the American audience.

Agreed. I picked up River King for the PS2 last week and it is actually fun. It's simple, and the graphics are a bit dated, but it is a cool title to pick up. Actually had some credit I used to get it cheaper, but still 19.99 is not a bad price at all for this game.

Another great Natsume game I picked up was Harvest Moon :Magical Melody (AKA Harvest Animal Moon Crossing), awesome game and it needs to be picked up by every Natsume fan.

Also thanx cheapy, I grabbed a copy of Finny.

i feel like im looking at like a total garbage game that nobodys heard of yet you are all exited about it and buying it maybe it was a cartoon at some point and im to old to know. :cold:
