I saw an ad on Craigslist for someone selling his 3DS XL which included Fire Emblem: Awakening and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Upon sending him a message and such he said he's willing to sell both games for the trade in values he gets for them at GameStop, which are as follows:

Fire Emblem: Awakening - $25
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - $17

To be honest I'm only really interested in Fire Emblem since a friend of mine is letting me borrow a copy of his Zelda game but I've heard that the game has been discontinued so prices are now much higher than before.

So what do you all think I should do? Should I get both games at this price, or only one of them or what?

Thank you. :D

Those are good price. Those game retail for $40 each. The trade value for those when i trade them was Fire Emblem for $22 and Zelda for $25.

You should buy both and trade in the one you do not need.

Sounds fairly decent on both ends. He gets cash instead of GS credit and you get good great games at good prices. As long as they're complete, I say go for it. You should also try to not get robbed or mugged in the process.

Haha don't worry, I try to be careful with) Craigslist transactions. ;)
If you're okay with CL trades go for it. You can always sell/trade on here or trade them in for more during promos.
Yea that was what I was thinking of doing actually.

Which deal do you all think is better, Fire Emblem or Zelda?

FE is a better deal, mostly due to it being more recent and not as popular.

Zelda on the otherhand has been on sale in the past and is much older but rumors say it is no longer being made. But again it's more popular.

Hope you got both.

Yea, it's exactly what I was thinking. Worst case scenario if I get the games is that I sell Zelda and recoup a bit of the cost.

But I am interested in both, so I'm getting both for $40 and should pick it up either later this week or next week (I'm out of town and he's apparently holding the games for me until I get back).

Thank you for your advice, makes sense. :)
