Firefly Deals?

TSD is sporting the best price I can find. Everywhere else wants at LEAST 8-11 dollars more. DDD is where my brother is picking the series up from.

$30 is a good price. I haven't seen it on sale forever. I picked mine up about 6 weeks ago during the by Space Above & Beyond at BB for $39 get firefly for $19.

Did they use a lot of popular music of the day as background music p perhaps? Could be there having trouble clearning up music rights. It's part of the reason Scrubs S1 took so long to come out, one of the bands were being little bitches and holding out for more money, so they eventually just had to replace it with another song on the dvd set.

Yes, both shows were filled with pop music. They're probably having similar problems to Miami Vice. I think many shows are now writing the DVD into the music contracts.

Damn Gamestop must give jack for the trade in value. But yea I don't mind used as long as the discs are in good condition. Interesting, didn't know music would hold up shows. You would think they already paid them to use the song before.

They had--for broadcast rights. But most of these shows were released in a time before home video rights were part of the negotiations in contracts. Like I said, I think many shows not include that when they use music, but TV shows simply did not get released for home 10 years ago (unless they were named Star Trek).

"fucking 90210, I couldn't get away from it"

I bought mine at Amazon for just over $30 shipped. You get free shipping (since it's over $25), but still get to pay tax. With the itty bitty A9 discount, I think it was $30.48. That's not bad...

Just saw Serenity for the third time today. Still catching new bits here and there.

i just saw all of the first season this weekedn (besides objects in space) and it was amazing. i gotta go out and find the movie now.

i'm going to see serenity tonight HOPEFULLY....just watched firefly this week and it was highly enjoyable and will pick up the dvd when i have more money :whistle2:*
