Firefox + page errors

I downloaded the latest Firefox update a couple of days ago, but now I keep getting "www.whateversite.com not found. Please check the name again." errors. Even Internet Explorer is having trouble accessing websites ever since I downloaded the update. I've tried a few things, but don't really know what the problem is.

Help is appreciated.

I haven't had any problem with FireFox and I have the latest and greatest.

Have your tryed re-installing it?

For some reason I've had the same problem, even though I updated the browser.

But anyways, the only time I actually get this error message is when I have something else downloading. Even if the speed o the download is just 5k, it still does it. But when everything is cleared, then it works for me.

could be proxy or some other network setting for your browser.
