Affinitive Websites (or Fanpimps) are fansites run by the companies themselves to help spread the word of a game. You earn points by doing challenges (such as writing short reviews, adding the game to your wishlist at IGN/GameSpot/etc, watching videos, making banners, etc) and by referring other users.

Usually it's pretty easy to get points and price drops happen on the items so you can buy the items. When the site is close to closing down, there's usually a HUGE sale on the items so you can spend your points. I remember getting Red Steel, Far Cry Vengeance, and a Red Steel Strategy guide off the Red Steel website after only a week of work (I joined late).

Turn off AdBlock. The first page that you pick your city to be a part of seems to get blocked by it.


It works like all Affinitive Marketting sites. You sign up, do little activities, participate in polls, and gain points for everything you do. You can then spend those points in the website store to get items.

Basically help spread the word about the game and earn prizes!

Edit: Thanks for signing up guys! Today seems to be the first day of the site so everyone has a chance to earn as many points as possible. Points system seems to be a bit broken but the__assassin says we will get the points for this once its fixed.
 
I pre-ordered back in March and now my receipt is hardly legible. Letters have almost faded away. Especially using my 0.3 megapixel cell phone camera XD I need to get a better pic.
 
For the assassins creed one, top prizes are a laptop, 4 360 elites, then theres hoodies, game strategy guides, glow pens, altair action figures, shirt iron-ons, black wireless controller + play and charge kit, and a computer video card.
