Firmware 2.00 part of tomorrow's update? - OUT NOW

anyone notice their WI-FI light being on even after shutting down the PS3? Never did this before, and seems like USB ports still conduct power even after the PS3 being shut off. All this happened after updating to 2.00.

Playing video from tversity is slightly borked since 2.0. I believe it is a PS3 problem, but Tversity folks figured they would have it fixed by monday.

To use remote play over internet, make sure you have TCP 9293 forwarded to your PS3.

I noticed the WiFi light was on, but didn't notice the fan until you said that. Even then, I had to press my ear directly to the PS3 to hear it. Proves how quiet the PS3 is!

I also have my remote play working perfectly. Now, if only my school would quit blocking random ports on their WiFi...:bomb:

AHH! that thought never occured to me. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
 
I actually found out that this firmware cut the PS3 power usage by 6W, which explains why it's taking longer for the fans to turn on, on many PS3 consoles.
