Flaws in blueray disc

I bought a copy of Soul Calibur 4 recently and there are 3 small nics on the edge of the disc, is this normal? A couple of my other games have smaller ones as well. Anyone else notice this on their games?

Never heard anything like this, but I want to ask? were these on the cases out of the box? If not it is possible that your ps3 did this to the games.

This is normal, I believe that it's the protective coating that they have on the bottom side of the disc (too much). I have a few blu-ray movies like that (rough edges) that I bought NEW and they still play perfectly.

Yeah my copy of Little Big Planet has some flaws around the edges of the disc like little areas of different color splotches where they shouldn't be, but no scratches.
