Wow Dante's Inferno down to $49 already...
EA games have been reducing fast in prices...

More of a $20 game for me... though... hoping to see an additional price cut on Army of two 2... under $40 and I would probably bite...

With this title in question, I'll put it succinctly: Army of Two McDonalds or less. :D

I just came back from Staples (Bureau en Gros) and I found a copy of Resident Evil 5 for 20$ (PS3).
It was a clearance item...

I was thinking three  but then to your credit it would be less funny....
So not worth it huh? Not even with a friend playing? (That's what I was hoping for....)

As for Resident Evil 5 be on the lookout for Resident Evil Gold dropping on March 9th (think Super Street Fighter...) new characters, new mode the usual shenanigans so I'm expecting the original game to take a steep price cut.

Where can I find the list of games that qualify for the Heavy Rain Trade 2 deal? If I could trade Infamous and Legends Of Wrestlemania, I'd be more than happy to trade them for Heavy Rain. I know they aren't going to take two $10 games.

i can't help but wonder if i should pick up ODST now for $49...or well actually PM'ing at BB which will take it down to $47 then using my $5 reward zone cash I've saved up so $42 + tax actually...

I'm wondering if MS will drop ODST's price when the halo reach beta gets closer to spur sales...if they drop it to "platinum" status so the $39 price range for an exxclusive AAA game it'll be worth it to wait then using my reward zone cash on that

hmm...
Does anyone know if I can trade in the bundled games (Pure, Lego batman, etc) on the 360 Elite bundle?
you can trade them in but you'll get peanuts for them. I'd keep them and give them a shot if I were you. Pure is actually a great arcade racer and IMO LEGO Batman is the best of the bunch

Even if it says on the barcode on the back "Not for Resale"?

I'd like to know this too, I've been on the fence about HR but depending on what I can trade in this is interesting.
Even if it says on the barcode on the back "Not for Resale"?
the "not for resale" is for the retailers in that they can't open the 360 elite bundles remove the games and sell them as regular copies for full price

trade them in at EB though with no problems and they'll gladly give you nothing for them then throw them up on their used shelves
Even if it says on the barcode on the back "Not for Resale"?
The point of "Not for Resale" is so that stores don't remove them from the bundle and sell them as new copies. They can buy/sell whatever used copies they want.

probably not likely but are microsoft points considered "accessories". If I remember TRU had a deal on accessories where people were getting a deal on them?

Yeah MS Points are considered as accessories, as they've been on sale at FS/BB when they have their x% off sales on accessories.

If those don't work at FS, I think your best bet would be to do a T2+$9.99 at EB for Heavy Rain. I'm pretty sure those would qualify there.

I thought FS would have their eligible game list up by now (as Best Buy would have for their T2 promos) but I don't see anything on their website yet. But judging by BB's lists in the past.. they would tend to be $30-$40 tiv new releases, with the occasional cheap game.

Edit: err, actually Wrestlemania sells for $15 used at EB so it probably won't qualify..

Yeah, that's where I bought Legends from. However, it's still $40 at FS/BB. I'll look at the list at Best Buy before calling Future Shop.

EDIT: Looked at the BBC list and neither game is on the list so I doubt either game would qualify at Future Shop.

The Trade 2 + $9.99 deal at EB is actually pretty good. There's a ton of qualifying games that you can snag for $5 - $15 right now. Even buying two $15 games and paying $10 isn't that bad.

If you resell the game its quite fine. 5$? Where from, the Source has been raided.

Thanks, WillGabriel. Yeah, I'm not going to give away two games with $40+ trade value and lose money out of the deal. It's the same games as the ones at BBC.
List is here: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/category/used-games/27603.aspx

If you're lucky enough to have one of the less-valuable games on the list, then go for it, but otherwise... Deal isn't actually that good. The games on the list seem to be all games that still re-sell for at least $40.
I was able to find a copy of Warioware Smooth Moves for $5 at BBV, so it might be possible to find a couple cheap games that qualify.

For those of you lucky enough to find wario smooth moves for $5.. it's out of print and actually worth a lot more on ebay ($40+) than using as a trade-in.

I know my mother picked it up for that price before Christmas at Zellers; definitely not a bad price by any stretch, Nintendo games tend to retain their value for a while!
Got Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story for 29.99, guess it's a good deal?
It was $25 at Amazon.ca last month, but still a good deal.
