The word at RFD is that DJ Hero is gonna be $99.99 at FS. Anyone heard about this? I've been itching for that game to go sub-$100.

Maybe, but given that it's hardly ever in stock at FS or BB they don't have much of a reason to blow it out, unlike the gigantic Band Hero boxes that clog up their shelf space.
 
It is true. DJ Hero hasn't been in regular stock since december started. Its not gonna be pushed to clear when it keeps needing to be reordered.
 
When there's some interesting or some ones looking for a price I'll add it. But I don't like to type up the cheap deals that have the same 15 they put on sale regularly. Is there something particular you'd like the price of?
 
I just went to FutureShop and they had astand that displayed 360 games that were on sale for 20$. it had Lost Odyssey, Viva Pinata 2, Mass Effect, etc. ( I dont remembr the others and cant find it on the website or last weeks flyer...

ME1 for 20 is pretty much its normal price now but VivaPinata Trouble in paradise and Lost Odyssey for 20 each is a pretty good deal...

The scarcity of the PS3 version used peeves me too!

I wouldn't say that PSP bundle is all that great given a while back you could get the core straight up for $170.

From the sounds of it, if you buy a game for $29.99, you get the PSP for $139.99, no? Essentially, buy a PSP, receive a $29.99 game for free, which ain't a bad deal.

Aye, no Tatsunoko vs Capcom in any of the advertisements. To be expected though. I'll have to check out the dreaded Gamerama (good for breaking release dates only!), but I'm hoping Game Centre comes through with the early release as well.

What exactly does YMMV mean ?

Those listed FS games, 50 cent, CoD3, Oblivion(goty edition) work for t3 according to tivs.ca

after checking the Select Titles that the Best Buy Mas Effect 2 trade in deal requires, I think its a very crummy promotion.
 
There's an easy way to describe trade in promo's like the Best Buy one when someone asks which games qualify. Simply as look at your game shelf if it's a game you bought in the last 4 months, it still costs $60 at retail and you want to keep it. Those are the ones that qualify :cry:

Man, I'm hoping for good deals in the next two months. I'm buying at least 8 games. I just hope it will be Future Shop that has the deals since I can trade games there. I can't do it at Best Buy. $10 off on those $69.99 games like Dante's Inferno and Final Fantasy XIII will also help.
 
will BB/FS PM the price of the XBL point cards from RCSS or are they pains about it?

I can't get to a store today or tomorrow and figure by Sunday they'd all be gone at RCSS so I'd just put in an ISPU for BB or FS and wait til sunday when i can go in and price match

+1, almost every store I visited has excess tony hawk ride filling up the shelves, guess it really bombed. i've seen several dj hero but not as much, im stores really want the renegade editions gone since the boxes are so big.

Just did some checking and both Best Buy and Future Shop have it up on their respective websites. Listed as $49.99 with a 2010-01-28 release date.

I picked up the Resistance 2 CE at Best Buy for $38.74, so it IS part of the clearance sale. Decent price if you're looking for the CE.

Yep, you can see it on HMV as well. I was speaking more to the fact that the title is not receiving any face time. There are high hopes for it, and I want to see it do well myself.

Anyone managed to find a copy, or pick up a fighting stick yet?
 
Ah, gotcha. My bad. Yeah, it's shame they ain't plugging this game as they should. Since they have 01/28 as the release date, I'll give FS and BB the benifit of the doubt and think perhaps they're waiting until next week's flyer to promote the game. Probably a long shot, but it could happen...

EA games always start at $69.99... Although their games seem to be dropping really quickly, so hopefully it'll drop to $40 within a couple months.
