I'll probably do that, I just wanted to play it on my new iMac ;)
Please save yourself some frustration and play with a 2 button mouse! I love my magic trackpad but it makes Portal 2 super frustrating.
I didn't get the magic track pad I got the Magic mouse. I'm set. Kids have been playing Portal 1 on it so far.
which version of imac>?
Any good deals?

We ordered this one:
21.5-inch: 2.7GHz
2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
1920 x 1080 resolution
4GB memory
1TB hard drive1
AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 512MB

I'm enjoying the new screen, keyboard and mouse. Our last iMac is 5 years old this ones a impressive upgrade. Decent deal my husbands company gets a partner discount I think it payed for some of the tax. The only discount I know of is the student one with a student ID number.

Yeah, some companies have "employee stores" through apple.ca that essentially offer education pricing. They take about $70-100 off iMacs. I no longer have access to such a store, but I find it hard to pay real prices for a Mac after having had that discount for the past several years.

Yup I get that discount and wouldn't mind pointing a few CAGS to the webpage if they wished.

Zelda, so your imac is the latest gen announced a few days ago by apple? the 1499 version?

Yes it is the new one at $1499.99. I didn't change anything in the ordering process and had the iMac within 3 days. Shipped from Toronto.
