I'm going to get a few of these cards. I know someone who works there and they get dscounts on these cards. These will come in handy with all the $0.99 apps for this weekend.

RCSS / Maxi (Loblaws) is having a sale on MS points
1400 MS points is 14.99 ($5 off)
2800 MS points is 34.99 ($5 off)

Obviously you should get 2 "1400 cards" instead of the "2800" one. The problem is that in a lot of Maxi & Cie stores around Montreal, they removed their Electronic Boutique and replaced them with some kind of Drug Store...

I'll be checking out the RCSS in Ottawa for this deal. I need a few 1400 points cards for gifts.
From RFD (no idea if it's Fallout NV or Fallout 3 GOTY that's on sale...)

If the American deals are anything to go by, then it should be New Vegas.

Cheers for the list. Wish this place had a rep feature so I could +1 ya :)

Picked up 4 of them last night at the Superstore on Portland St.; they had three or four full racks of them when I left. I was ecstatic when I found out my discount card worked, I wish I would have made it up there on tax free though. Speaking of wishes I wish my store carried the card, then again, I do love my bus rides!

Don't forget this is the last day for them being on sale!

I haven't been the RCSS in Ottawa yet, and their site mentions nothing of an Electronics boutique. Has anyone gone to any of the RCSS's in Ottawa and found these? Are Loblaws with proper electronic boutiques also having this sale in Ontario?

You can call the store and ask I went to the Kanata one 2 weeks ago and they were sold out. I think the deals dead anyway above said yesterday was the last day.

Damn. I missed that. I don't know why it was posted in this thread since this is for deals that start today. I'll have to wait and hope that another store has a similar sale soon.
They sound delicious.
If you're a dog...

I might buy something this week, though I won't be spending money like I did last time at the Black Friday week sales.

"EA games 49.99 -> MoH, Fifa 11,NHL 11, Madden 11, Tiger 11, Simis 3 (all ps3 and 360) also Wii NHL slapshot"

Just wanna let you know that there is a spelling mistake.

Lots of places have that PSP bundle for sale, so on my way to work I'll probably buy one from EB, since it's in the same mall that I work in. Unless I change my mind again. :bouncy:

:applause:. I wonder when someone was going to point that out.

Look harder I'm sure you can find more

Cancelled my order with Gamestop and PM'd New Vegas at Best Buy for 37.99.

It's a small consolation for missing out on some of the awesome US deals, but I'll take it. :)

Just noticed a BestBuy email that says Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 double-pack Blu-Ray is coming this Tuesday I believe, there's a $10 Disney Movie Rewards coupon. You have to be a member of DMR to use this.
I don't know how many Disney fans will run for this, but I thought it was interesting. I doubt I'll get it though, no one in the house is a fan of it :)

Regular $34.99 - $10 = $24.99
What is a good price for the PSP? I'm actually curious now with so many bundles being advertised.

I heard there are also some Go version or something.
Price-wise, I jumped on the $129 bundle with the 3000 model. Isn't it the same LBP bundle that's the same price in most places everywhere this week?

PSP Go doesn't play physical UMD games so just know beforehand that you have to download games. From what I've heard not every single game released on UMD is down-loadable off of PSN or something.

I'm sure someone else can give a much better explanation about its features and such.

Ok, so about $130 for a PSP3000 bundle is pretty good then.

I'd say $130 is decent. I got the Hannah Montana one for $100 but that was a rare sale and I doubt most people want a Lilac PSP any way. I'm satisfied with it tho, hate the piano black finish on my old one.

As already mentioned, the PSPGo does NOT play UMDs, which are the unique disc based games for the PSP. Instead, you download all your content onto the machine - this can be done through your PC or PS3, and paid for by PlayStation Network (PSN) points cards, or simply a credit card.

The 'Go comes with 16GB of internal space, and is upgradable as well, but it uses it's own unique memory stick format - MemoryStick Micro - available in different sizes (2, 4, 8, 16gb) but a little more expensive than other formats. The 16GB of internal space is quite a lot however.

The 'Go is smaller and has a reduced screen size - this reduction does not skew the image of games, and in fact is a lot sharper color wise. The 'Go also has a handy "Pause Game" feature that can be used to stop any game at any time if you have to put the machine away. Unfortunately the battery life is NOT improved over the regular PSPs.

The PSPGo is now retailing for $200 from its original $250 price tag. I would suggest $150 would be a "good" price for it while $100 would be a "great" price.

As mentioned by tronB, the library of downloadable games for PSPGo is smaller than its whole UMD library, so take that into consideration.

Personally, I love my PSPGo's hardware - it feels and looks great - but the -3000 series has a lot more versatility in software selection and the ability to save by buying Used games is a big plus.

Thanks. So $130 is a decent price for a package that I can use to gauge PSP deals. I'm not too desperate to get one but if one comes for a good enough price, I'll pick it up too.
