I think Lego Rock Band has a better setlist than Band Hero. As for the sale items... Um, WHAT SALE ITEMS?!? These flyers are getting worse.

Band Hero (minus 4 songs) is exportable to Guitar Hero 5.

My opinion is to buy neither, rent both and export them
 
Give me a break. The Canadian dollar dips a bit and they raise the price of Sony 1st party games back up to $69.99? Lame. That's why I don't go to TRU regularly for my gaming fix.

Doesn't your rental place give you the manual?

If you rent it the first day it's out won't you be the first person to use the one-time use code?

If it works the same way as the Rock Band export (other then it's one-time use rather then multiple use) you should still be able to export it as long as you are the first person to rent it.
 
Both are a one time export using a unique code in the manual. Don't know if they link to your XBL or PSN account or what. If they don't, it would be pretty dumb.
 
Lame, Band Hero is $69.99, New SMB Wii is $59.99, and Dragon Age PC is $59.99. Meanwhile, MW2 is $59.99. Why can't they be consistent with pricing?

Don't forget LEGO rockband costs $10 to export. So not worth it to me, $70 in the end for just 45 songs that I don't get to pick. It might make an okay stand alone game, but if you're treating it as a track pack just for exporting to RB2 it's kind of a ripoff.
 
Obviously, when I finally decide to stop buying games for a few months, LBP, inFamous, and KZ2 are $40....

Dont forget that it can only be exported once so you can expect the value of it to drop like a rock as well.

They should do it the same way they did rockband 1, well i would like that anyways lol

Yeah, that was nice. Me and my brother picked up a used copy of RB1 for like $25 and exported to each of our PS3s. We even shared the $5 license so we only had to pay it one time.

I'm likely going to buy a replacement unit for my 360 on Boxing Day. While the $200 Pro bundle sounds good, I don't really need all that...just a console. Hopefully we'll have some $130 Arcades C:
 
Yeah, this is a case where the $10 extra we have to pay in Canada sucks. Luckily I preordered it from Amazon.com for only $40, and getting it shipped through Goomba. :)
 
i really want some of the songs on lego rock band, but i really just want to export to rock band 2...i think waiting until post xmas is the way to go. i could definitely see the game dropping to $30-40 in a few months.
 
LBP for that price is tempting. If I buy it now I wouldn't play it for months.....so I'm not sure if I should bite on this deal or not. Do GotY Editions ever go to greatest hits? I could wait a year...or more. No rush with my current backlog.
 
What a joke. I went to Best Buy early this morning and there are none of Uncharted and Gran Turismo. I don't know what's the point of these deal if they don't have it the first few hours on the first day of the sale. They tricked me twice since last week to make me go to their store and not able to find what I want day 1 of their sale (last week was Borderland).
 
Some cars these days are picky when it comes to oil. My dad put Castrol GTX in out van and it actually burned some of it out forsome reason. The official stuff didn't burn.
 
I got a raincheck for Uncharted 1 because there were no copies at Best Buy Anjou.

There are lots of GT5 Prologue at Best Buy Anjou for those looking for it in Montreal.

Thanks for the flyers, I preordered Modern Warfare 2 but I'm not sure I did it right. When I brought the preorder card to the cashier the total for the game was $5 something. Will I get the $10 gift card when I pick up and pay for the game when it releases?

Ignore my post, the code comes on a separate insert and not on the back of the book. Although most places I know give the book with rentals, they don't give the extra inserts.
