Good deal for Beatles Rock Band.
What are you going to do with those extra 16 cents? ;)
(Retail for RB:Beatles is $59.99 at FS/BB/EB)

I'm going to PM at FutureShop for the extra 10% and have 17 cents to spend!

Saturday only is 20X points at SDM, eg get points worth $75 immediately (or $100 by waiting for a special day) on a DSi purchase, or as much as $165 (special day/plus member) on a wii.

Well, technically they should knock off 2 cents so you can look forward to an extra $0.18 burning a hole in your pocket. :)
Man I want those Beatles CDs but I don't want to spend that much -.-
Same here. I had them pre-ordered twice, but canceled both times. It's a lot to spend, and I am willing to spend it, but not right now. I want to pay off previous purchases first. I'll get them eventually though.

I wonder if by "old RB instruments" they mean RB1 or RB2. But with RB2 SE $99.99 almost everywhere, it seems silly to buy that (RB2 SE + Beatles = $159.99).

Doesn't appear to be an advantage to getting the Wii version though: same price.

I forgot the games not out till Tuesday. There goes my plan.

I had absolutely no idea that SDM sold consoles, or that they had any kind of gaming section at all. Is this only at select locations?

Wait, are my eyes deceiving me? Are games being universally dropped back to $60 on new releases? I havn't bought a $70 game since the price raised... $70 after tax is a little more justifiable for a high profile release.

Or does beatles just have an obscurely low $10 off thing.

Generally only the newer, larger format stores. They only carry Wii, DS and a dozen or so games for those systems.

This. I found it strange too but sadly it is just The Beatles that is 60$.

I can't wait for Beatles Rock Band. I already have it in my posession (hurray for working in a rental store!), but I can't wait to physically own it myself. If anyone is wondering - it's freaking awesome! Well... if you're a fan of The Beatles, at least. It's nice to see the price seems to have dropped slightly at least.

Best Buy has some $9.99 Blu-Rays. I can't find a link to the complete list.

It's not in the Flyers but I noticed while I was in Best Buy they have finally dropped the price of the season DVD's on a few of the 90's animated shows. I'm writing my Christmas list now.

X-Men Volume 1 $22.99
X-Men Volume 2 $22.99
X-Men Volume 3 $21.99 coming out Sep 15th
X-Men Volume 4 $21.99 coming out Sep 15th

oh yes! thanks for the update. did you see any batman or super man?

I think today or tomorrow is the last day for EB Games's Trade 4 for Rock Band 2 Special Edition. I think that would be the cheapest option for the beatles if you have some eligible games kicking around.

Thanks PZ!

I saw the flyer, Million Dollar Baby I'll pick up, nothing else really stuck out to me.
Hopefully something is good in store.

Can't wait for The Beatles. Why couldn't they just release it today? I don't want to wait any longer...
Is Beatles 60 MSRP or is that just a one week sale?
It is $59.99 as it says so in the announcements at rockband.com

Wow. I almost want to buy the game just to support their pricing.

Any luck on those Tax Free PS3 Slims at RCSS? In Ontario, it looks like we're receiving a free Slow Cooker on purchases over $250 as well..

I'll be checking out the Oakville location later, at the very least. Driving up to the Winston Churchill location as well if there's nothing in Oakville.

I think Lego Rock Band is set at 49.99US which barring major financial upheaval should be the price here too.
