FNR 3 Tournament (Middleweight Champ Crowned!)

can we do middle weight. Winky Wright is my boy. Can we just decide before the fight as long as it isnt feather or light weight. Walter and up is fine but i would like middle
 
Okay since we've had various ideas brought up I do think middleweight is a good compromise. We'll stick with that so everyone can start playing their games. Go ahead and be whatever characters you want, can even be the same guy.
 
Ok Matt and i played today. A long well fought fight ending with an 8th round K.O. by me. Good luck everyone else and see you in the next round.
 
Hmm I'd probably rather get another tournament going instead of extra rounds. Supaman if you wanna have a first round fight we could have one and you'd just get to advance no matter the outcome.
 
Naw, its all good. I was just wondering how it will pan out. But given that this is the first tourny, I'm pretty sure I'm getting a head of myself. It's all good...
 
Looks like my opponent is a no show. I've sent him a few messages for him to tell me what time he wants but he doesn't respond.
 
Okay well since some people aren't playing and some have scheduling issues we will let the first round go through Sunday, but that's it. I'll advance people based on effort trying to play then. The second round will then have until next Friday. I know a few of you guys can't play until later in the week, but hopefully it works out.

If you guys or anyone else is interested I might start a Heavyweight tournament while we wait for this one to finish. Only sign up though if you have time to play. If possible I'd like to start soon, PM me if interested.
 
Alright, but its up to the other guy to get intouch with me since I've done more than enough already.

As for the heavy, Im down but do you think there would be enough interst for it? We barely got 7 for this one and we cant even finish the first round on time.

DT778 and I just finished our match. I won by KO in what I believe was the 4th round . Lastly, count me in for the heavyweight tournament.
 
Renegade you still have awhile. I extended this first round and then the winner of your match's opponent wont' be able to play late in the next round anyway so its no hurry.

Also, I doubt we'll last past next weekend. Everything should be done for then.

How about for Heavyweight everyone that can PM me and only let me know if you can play pretty much consecutively for the next week or so. I'd really like to get a four or eight man tournament going where we could start today or tomorrow, get the next round going by Wednesday and finish on the weekend. Then once we have heavyweight and middleweight champs I have a few ideas.
 
can we make some rules for the heavy tourny?

I don't know how the rules are online since i've only played a few times online but can we turn off fight stoppage?

Also do you guys set up your matches? Is there a way to invite someone on your friends list or do you guys just meet up in one of the rooms and do it there?

and matt i didnt put it in the pm but I can play consecutively.
 
Yeah we can turn off fight stoppage. Also I say fights should be at least 10 rounds. Beyond that I'm flexible. You can invite friends directly in or just meet in a lobby if you want the game to be ranked.

Phinsfan, if you want, we can get our match done tomorrow. I have a clear schedule, so any time during the day works for me. Send me a pm or an xbl friend request or message or something.

any one see winky get robbed yesterday. That was a good fight but winky is so underrated in this game. it pisses me off. His defense in real life is show much better than in the game. Also in real life his arms cover his whole body
 
Renegade and slickkill did you guys get your match done? If not I'm willing to give you a few more days considering your opponent isn't back until Wednesday.
 
Lets try to get everything with the current matches done by Friday. If Renegade and slickkill don't play I'll either just declare a winner, put someone in as a replacement, or just give jakescape the win and he can fight the winner of supaman and phinsfan.
 
Gojtron and coolieman how about you guys have a fight and then I'll either use it as a replacement fight for the first round one that may not happen or I'll put you into the bye spot that was originally there and I'll have you fight the winner of Phinsfan/Supaman or something like that. Whatever works out, hopefully I can find something. If not at least it'll demonstrate that we have a few more committed players.

Hows the 2nd round coming? I still yet to have a round 2 opponent. I'm free to fight a replacement or ill just take the bye into the finals if it comes to that.
 
I still need to fight my match with Phinsfan. I'm leaving tomorrow morning and will be gone until Thursday, so if I can get my fight out of the way tonight, that would rock.

And jakescape- if by say 9:30 I don't get a responce from Phinsfan, do you want to do a round and the winner can take on Phinsfan?
 
Ok in Round 2 action the fight was supaman and me ending with a 2nd round K.O. by me (jakescape) So im assuming this means im in the finals now with phinsfan? Am i correct? We should get a CAG bookie bet going on the outcome of the fight :lol:.
 
Lets do it like this. jakescape and Supaman's match will now be considered your second round fight. Phinsfan will fight the winner of either Renegade/slickkill or coolieman/gojtron if they replace it. The winner of that willl then take on jakescape in a final. If by chance both of those other matches happen I'll put someone back in to figure something out. Probably have the winners of those two fights fight each other and then jakescape fights them. I'm trying to update the first post with all this info but my browser is being a pain.
 
Sigh. I'm at home for a few hours, but the friend I was housesitting for is in the hospital for a back problem. After 7 or so I'll be gone for the night.
 
ok i updated the first post. coolieman you should try to get a match in with phinsfan now. the winner of that will take on jakescape in the finals.

also, if the participants in the match I removed still want to fight I can maybe work you back in before the finals, but if not just try to be ready for the next tournament.
 
Phinsfan72 and I just had our fight. I beat him in the 9th round by KO. It was a very good match. I enjoyed it very much
